Room was clean and well presented. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. On street parking is difficult but they allowed us to park in the rear yard. We didn’t have breakfast but it smelt good. Beds were comfy if a bit too soft but that’s personal preference. Would have been nice if people staying upstairs hadn’t decided to be so heavy footed when walking around in the night but that’s not hotels fault.

Would have given this an all 5 star review if I hadn't been asked to pay an extra fee when checking out. Booked for 2 adults and a 17 year old, only to be told by the hotel staff that the upper limit for a child was 12 years. As there was no mention of this when booking through Expedia, I thought I had booked appropriately. As nice as this hotel was, we won't be returning.

Very tiny, tiny single room. Bed was awful. Long walk to dining. The pub doesn't serve food. Breakfast was very good. Cramped but inexpensive.

One of the cleanest hotels ever

I arrived quite late and went into the pub downstairs to ask how to access the hotel. The woman behind the bar was so helpful and friendly and walked me round to the entrance and explained everything to me thoroughly, despite the fact it was horrible weather outside. I was on the top floor and the room was extremely clean, with a roll top bath and extremely comfortable bed. I loved the fact they even have Oatly milk with the tea tray, something most expensive hotels don't have, nevermind a room that cost me under £40. I was really pleased with my stay and would highly recommend.
