Lovely little hotel
Perfect place to stay if you're in the area, we stayed after a day visiting family in Newport. The bed was very comfy and the bath/shower was brilliant, perfect to warm up after being outside all day! The staff were all very friendly and helpful and a beautiful breakfast was served!

Nice but ….
It was our second stay here. The staff we had any dealings with were all nice & friendly and helpful same as our last visit. Our room (No.3) was nice, but quite chilly on our arrival, so it wasn’t particularly welcoming. It transpired that the heating was switched off (surprising for the end of October) and it certainly wasn’t obvious how to turn it on. The bathroom towel rail (which I should also mention was unfortunately very rusty in places) was also switched off. That didn’t help. Little things that could have made a big difference to our first impressions. However the worst part was to come. I wanted to have a nice soak in a hot bath just before I went to bed, but the water was completely cold. Not even tepid. Unfortunately it was far too late to do anything about it then, so I waited until the morning …. but worse still, it was still stone cold then. So we had both had to make do with a cold body wash. Not good especially for a hotel. The bed was comfortable though! One last complaint ….. there were loads of long dark hairs left in the bath from previous occupants. Ugh. I mentioned all this to the nice lady when I checked out. She said she’d tell the manager when he arrived, so I’d hoped that by now, I would have had an apology from him with perhaps some sort of goodwill gesture for our disappointment and inconvenience. But as yet …. nothing. I do want to end on a positive note though, so I should just mention the cooked breakfast was really excellent!

Had a lovely time.
Had a lovely time. Room was clean & tidy as was the bathroom. Food offered had a large selection and was excellent. Service throughout the hotel from the staff was first class, they were approachable and professional with a friendly attitude. Would rate it a ten out ten stay.

We found our stay to be very comfortable and clean .size of room was good ,the bathroom had a very big bath and shower . We had a meal in the restaurant and breakfasts before leaving both very good .would definitely recomend staying here . Staff were helpful and friendly.

The rooms were very clean and maintained daily. The breakfast was very good and the surroundings within the restaurant was very much to our liking. I would recommend anyone to take a few days there.

The Old Barn Inn is a gem of a place to stay. It is in a peaceful setting, with spacious, well-appointed rooms, comfy beds, and great showers with plenty of hot water. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed for 2 nights on an annual golfing trip. The breakfasts and evening meals were of excellent quality and substantial portions. It totally surpassed our expectation and we definitely will be back next year.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, food was lovely and bed comfortable. We’re used to thinner pillows, a bit thick for us but staff didn’t know that. The toilet seat wouldn’t stay up so will mention that to staff but we were only here for one night. We would recommend and definitely stay again.

The room was nice had a ceiling fan so if hot would be great. We had a meal in the restaurant which was good but the service was terrible. We also had breakfast that had a good choice but again the service was not good

The Old Barn in is an absolute treasure. The room was spotless, comfortable and very spacious. After our meal there, we immediately booked a second night. The food is delicious, very good quality & reasonable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was fantastic, and served by the cheeriest lady. The accommodation overall looks so inviting, a beautiful array of flowers all around outside . We loved it
