Room price was very cheap. So I guess you get what you pay for. Breakfast was good. Great gym. Hotel old but not in a good way. Çould do with a bit of money spent on it. We just needed a bed for night to break up a long journey to Scotland. Worked fine for us.

Get what you pay for.

Cheap stay, "interesting" guests. Quite at night. Rooms clean, staff are friendly. Looks better on the inside. Outside needs renovation. Bring ID for check in!

we stay here every 2 weeks as its a nice hotel, staff r really friendly and breakfast is nice as well.

It was noisy at night. I reported it to the reception twice. The receptionist changed my room. The room was very hot because the heating pipes were in that room.

Difficult car park similar to a bomb sight. Some one entered our room at 1:30 am the late night noise and smell of tobacco was over powering. People were obviously smoking inside the rooms. What we paid was what we considered top price £36 if you came and paid on the day £96 which I would have disputed.

Cheap get away

Well as they say you get what you pay for . Room was lovely and clean with fresh towels and linen etc . Room was very dated and much needed reverb throughout the hotel . Shower and bath taps run water together which is a waste of a lot water . Beds comfy so no complaints from us as it did its purpose. Loads of takeaways walking distance and aldis 5min drive .

Matches the price… Very tired hotel. Grubby carpet, very bad mattress - springs in the back. Helpful and friendly welcome. Decent breakfast for the price. Ideal if you need to take a rest on a long journey.

Very dirty and un sanitary, smelt of urine, not clean sheets, got bitten by a bug in the bed. Very unhappy. Splatter stains on the walls the lot. No soap or anything to wash hands with. Dirty towel hanging up in our wardrobe. 2 single mattress to make a double with a headboard that didn’t even fit

If you are looking for luxury this is not the place for you. If you want a bed, toilet, shower and English breakfast this is great. Place is tired and musty but linen and bathroom were clean and beds comfortable.
