I liked that the property was right off the freeway, and close to Carlsbad Village which offers a lot of dining options & places to shop.
The property is not the cleanest, but for $60 a night, it's not terrible. The walls are thin & you can hear the goings-on of neighbors. So if you're looking for a good night of peace & quiet, this place isn't for you. It's great if you're just in the area & need a place to crash for a night or two.
It's a basic Motel 6, nothing flashy about it, so don't expect much.
