The staff were great. The family room was clean and included amenities we needed for a comfortable and wonderful stay. The swimming pool was well maintained. It was walkable to Legoland.

Great location and amenities. The following needs improvement: More towel hooks in the bathroom needed, cabinet pulls were dirty, all the cereal bowls still smelled of raw eggs even after dishwashing them all before use.

The place was dirty and not well maintained. The outside floors were cracked and worn out. Facility showed that it is old and not well maintained. The shower was cold and did not warm up at all.

This was the perfect location for our trip to Legoland and the Music Museum. We loved the city of Carlsbad and drove to meals at the beach only a 10 min drive away. We also went to the market and it was very close. We walked to Legoland. The room was large, the kitchen fully equipped and the facility (pools, resort) was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel.

We loved our room! Very clean and seemed recently updated compared to other hotel villas we’ve stayed at recently! It’s walking distance to Legoland and saved us $35 in parking! We were a little disappointed in the kids/family pool area. The tables were all dirty with food crumbs and bird poop and the concrete needed to be swept or power washed.
