The place is clean, quiet and close to many popular destinationsin and around Carlsbad. Staff and service is excellent. Breakfast is very good. Only thing we didnt like is that some of the items in the room such as the ironing table, etc were of cheap materials.

Rooms aren't very sound proof. Could easily hear neighbors that shared the joining door and people in the hallways (more than other hotels). Even walking down the hallways I could hear people moving and talking in their rooms.

Stayed at the Hampton Inn in Carlsbad and it was perfectly all right. Nothing particularly special or memorable, but also nothing to complain about. The room was clean, the staff was polite, and everything worked as expected. A solid, no-frills stay if you just need a comfortable place to rest. Definitely not hard to do some updates to the road and bathroom, especially the flooring but overall it was good.

Clean and updated property. A lot of parking. And a great breakfast set up. My only complaint is the signage, I accidentally walked into the wrong hotel first. But maybe that was my error.
