Good Stay, but no morning hot water.

Good stay for the basics of a bed and shower. Unfortunately, we didn't have hot water in the morning after running the Carlsbad 5k.

The blankets on the bed were dirty. The room smelled like a swamp cooler. It was very musty. The bathroom was the worst. We got up before 6am just to get out of there. The beds have plastic sheets on them and are extremely uncomfortable. Sleeping in the car would have been better. Never staying again!

We only stayed one night as it was close to legoland. We found the beds uncomfortable and they have very loud crinkly mattress covers on them which wake you up all night. The walls are thin and our neighbor was talking and had the tv on very loud which kept us up too. Overall pretty clean.

Its right off of I5 so there is traffic noise throughout the night, of you're a light sleeper that might bother you. Otherwise it was clean and quiet.

The rooms are all newly renovated and the customer service was excellent. The location is Very close to LEGOLAND, there is also a park and library nearby that my child enjoyed. Great value and we will be back!

I would give it zero stars but it won't let me but doesn' even deserve 1 star. Don't book this hotel if you are planning a vacation with your family or a family stay. Definitely not family friendly. Smells horrible, its dirty, and unsafe. My kids were terrified. My family and I decided not to stay for these reasons. Don't waste your time or money because you will not get a refund from them. Worst hotel experience of my life. Honest review.

BEWARE!!! Manager is "customer beware ". Pre-paid for a week. When I arrived none of the tv's worked in any rooms. Manager told me it was just my tough luck. Other customers tried to tell me of their problems with the Manager and he accused them of being drunk.
