The price was cheap. Staff were good but the property was old...and it strongly smelled like mold or marijuana the first night. It looked like there was small patched up spot with black mold in the restroom. I toughed it out for the first night since there wasnt any other rooms available but we all felt sick the next morning. I opened the door to get rid of smell and it seemed to work...the following nights the smell had reduced dramatically. Front office staff were notified and it seemed like the room was cleaned and smell almost removed the 2nd night and on. Alot of people with pets and this lady groomed her animal upstairs and broomed all her hairs to the 1st floor! Disguisting! A little ghetto but thats what happens when you wait till the last minute for a legoland vacation. Legoland was less than 1 mile away and the ocean was close too....Overall I would never stay again if I had a choice....but not a good experience with my kids.....

The worst experience ever. The room smelled horrible. A combination of humidity, stale cigarette and the disinfectant they use to “clean” the rooms. One of the sheets had a blood stain, the tub was clogged, there were crumbs everywhere and the fridge wasn’t working. Our food spoiled because of it. I tried talking to the manager about the issues and he started yelling at me. As previously stated, this was the worst experience of my life.

I will try to avoid Motel 6. Never again. After a long day, we were tired. We didn't realize there were several Motel 6 's in the same area, with different owners. So we had to call each Motel 6 to find our reservation. Thin old towels, pillows, terrible mattress.

U had to tell these mfs every day to give room service it wasnt automatic, they didnt come by for 4 days for service. Other than that it was fine but cmon room service is automatic each morning not at 4 or 5pm

Room was smelly, dirty and room didn’t get cleaned daily, sheets towels also not changed . Manager wouldn’t do anything about it. DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE, worst experience ever ! Couldn’t continue my stay here had to leave early because no one cleaned our room or changed our sheets. Many guests were complaining in lobby about dirty rooms but manager didn’t care .

While our room was very nice and clean, we had two other couples who had a terrible experience. One couple had a bath tub that was dirty and unfinished and sheets were soiled. Our other couple had soiled sheets and was not clean. This is unexceptable when you are paying money for a room and expect a clean room and sheets. I'm sure the other two couples have left a review. Very disappointing.

I appreciated the staff giving me an early check-in for a fair price. It was important for me to get settled-in before I had to attend a training nearby. The area is about 3-miles from a convenience store, so that was slightly a bummer. Even though there was no shampoo and conditioner samples in the bathroom, I was able to buy some in the office for just $1. I didn't rate the property as "safe" because that is not something that can be rated, no matter where you stay. I can say, I did not feel threatened or worried about my safety. In fact, the office staff placed me right above the office, so I could feel as comfortable as possible. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I would rent there again. All the best, Donna

I would like someone from Expedia to call me regarding this reservation. This hotel was awful worst ever. When we arrived they couldn't find our reservations and depending on who you spoke to they said they didn’t have rooms available then another person said they did and it was $280 a night, can you say bait and switch. I have pictures of the dirty/stained sheets and the bathtub that was disgusting.

Don’t stay here!!!

Motel 6 could not find our reservation through hotels.com. Rather than trying to help us, they made it our problem and we had to contact hotels.com and try to work it out. Omar called the hotel and accepted that the Manager (Gary) could not find our reservation and left us with the choice to rebook somewhere else or get a refund. We were traveling with someone else so staying elsewhere wasn’t an option. Celeste (front desk) asked for Omar to call back but he said he was busy and couldn’t call again. Gary eventually agreed to honor the reservation at the same rate and we got a room. Once we got to the room the bed was horrible and the sheets had stains on them! The towels were so thin they barely dried your hands! I highly recommend finding another place to stay and booking directly with the hotel. Hotels.com was not helpful and did not offer much customer support
