Am reviewing to get Expedia to stop nagging me for a review. I brought my dog to this Motel 6 as it is pet friendly and I am trying to train him that it's okay to leave home for adventures as my former dogs were not all that adventurous. (He was a trooper and did great!) It's a Motel 6, people! It's no more or less than that. The room was fine, other than I hoped for a small coffee pot as most places I've stayed had one in the room, but that was easily remedied by a trip to a store to purchase one. The staff was friendly and kind and didn't object to my rather large dog. It's located in a business area but is close enough to the beaches, making it a cost-friendly vacation spot for those on a budget. That it is pet-friendly is a bonus.

They have cockroaches everywhere!!!! Literally in lots of the rooms I have stayed in and when you ask for a new room they look at you all crazy lollll, never coming again. Fix your air machines and stop being cheap!!! Reporting this hotel for health concerns!!

WORST HOTEL I HAVE BEEN TO!!! I have been to many upon many hotels and this was by FARRRR the worst one i stayed at. First off, the guy in the front office was so unprofessional and rude when my fiancé KINDLY asked for a new room because as soon as we entered our room it was super hot because the air conditioning did NOT WORK!!! I did not spend money just for the air to not work like come on!!! The guy in the front told us NO we cannot exchange rooms! We were super frustrated because we did not get a good night sleep because we were SWEATING so much!!! SO DISAPPOINTED. To make things worse, the rooms are FILTHY!!! They have fruit flies everywhere (you literally can’t leave anything out because they will land on your stuff). The walls look like they haven’t been clean in YEARS. The bathtubs need to be scrubbed, they are so gross and I literally had to wear sandals!!! The worst part by far about this hotel is that they have a cockroach infestation! When in the room, me and my fiancé saw two big cockroaches!!! One was crawling all over the bathroom mirror and the other was ON TOP OF THE MICROWAVE... Cockroach’s contain the most bacteria out of all bugs and this place really needs to be shut down. It’s a crime that they’re taking peoples money and leaving them with a hot hotel room with cockroaches and fruit flies. Please, save your money… This motel needs to do better!!! CLEAN YOUR ROOMS THEY ARE DISTURBING. NEVER COMING BACK AGAIN EW!!!
