We had a room that faced the highway and it was pretty noisy. I asked to be moved for our second night and we were given a room that faced the pool. It was amazing! The front desk staff was very responsive. The breakfast bar was clean and nicely stocked. However, we hoped for some waffles or pancakes and missed the breakfast meat. We could have used more gluten free options. The staff there was very friendly and cheerful. It was a good way to start the day!

While the idea and layout of the room were lovely, the leak from the upstairs room and the ants were not appreciated. The staff was understanding and said they would give compensation upon checkout for the inconvenience. As of this review we have not had time to confirm. The location was convenient to our activities and food.

This hotel could use a refresh. It worked for us for 3 days, but I wouldn’t stay here again. We had ants in our room, paint was chipped, and the facilities just felt old. It is right next to the interstate, but we personally didn’t hear the noise. The staff we encountered were very friendly. Breakfast was simple (eggs, potatoes, cereal, muffins, bagels, apples and bananas). We did love how close it was to different locations and liked having the option of two king beds. The kitchen doesn’t come stocked with any supplies (silverware, plates, etc). They said they had a kitchen set at the front desk, but we didn’t end up using it.

I loved the price. And the stay was good for the price. My complaints are just that the jacuzzi did not work and we booked this place because they had one. Second the tv was cooked and we had to use a slipper to prop it up. We loved that the parking was free and the area was convenient. Room was clean.

Disappointing And Not A Three Star

The room was very musty smelling to where we had to have the windows open most of the night to breath. Our crib wasn't put in our room per our request so we had to bother the poor front desk lady And her manager who was there when we got there (around 6 PM) and when we left (past 7 AM). The toilet was clogged from before us and the bed was very springy to where my wife and I could feel every bit of each other's movement. The "hot breakfast" had two hot items (bagged eggs, and cheese potatoes - no meat) and otherwise a continental breakfast. The whole building has settled so the room and deck were signifcantly bowed (the dresser drawer would not shut due to this) and tilted too. The pros were that it is a decent (and seemlingly safe) location (if you don't mind the noise from Interstate 5 right across from the motel) and it looked like it was a nice pool and hot tub. The room other than the smell and bowing was ok too and seemed clean enough with a recent remodel of a few things. If you don't mind a strong musty smell, possible toilet clogs, a lack luster breakfast, and seemingly overworked staff if something goes wrong, then this might be an option for you. I would say this is a 2 and a half star motel at best - not a 3 star so if you are looking for a 3 star experience, look elsewhere. And if you have a postpartum wife who wants a 3 star experience DEFINETLY LOOK ELSEWHERE!!

The room wasn’t large and had a slight musty smell but was very clean. Luggage carts only available near lobby. Freeway is loud. Beautiful pool and jacuzzi and warm enough to swim at night. Best part was the person who prepared the breakfast, such a beautiful soul. And the breakfast was delicious, from the hot, fluffy yummy eggs, potatoes and all of the other choices.
