I didn't particularly care for the pets. Barking all hours of the night and very thin walls don't really help for sleep. No hot water on the first day to take a shower. Then the hotel manager opens my room door with me half clothes laying in the bed. I stayed because it was cheaper but I think I'll pay the extra next time for piece.

Amazing experience from the responsive staff, clean, comfortable room and the location of the property steps from the beach. I would highly recommend the Boardwalk Inn to anyone who is looking for a relaxing stay.

I didn’t realize you could walk out onto the beach until I got here. This was the perfect spot to stay. Great location we could walk to everything. The room was perfect size for my daughter and I. We loved the tiled shower. The king bed was super comfortable. The little refrigerator and microwave was perfect for us. You can hear the waves when sitting on the balcony and patio area. Thanks so much for a great visit.

This is such a great boutique hotel. The only issue I had I don't think they can even do anything about but the people upstairs were horrendously noisy. The clunking around in high heels should really be discouraged for people if they want to consider those underneath them. Stopped at 1am then back at it at 530am so it was impossible to sleep through. Other than that it was a great place! If I ever returned I would insist on an upper floor to avoid the possibility of inconsiderate neighbors in the future. Thank you for making it otherwise a hassle free and beautiful experience!

It was ok but really not what we expected. The pictures were a little deceiving. The management did step up when the WIFI was acting up and that kept the tv in and out. So, thanks for a nice stay.

This was a last minute decision to find somewhere to stay overnight. Price was good, on the beach, VERY clean. We’d stay here again. We liked the bar across the street. They had live music and it didn’t bother us when we went to bed. The pool/pool area could use some help. Overall 👍

Disappointed

It was great to be so close to the beach and the de or of the room was great. There was a strong odor of a chemical cleaner that made it difficult to breathe and, thus, relax. There was a trash bag and smelly mop just outside our door. I reported it when I arrived and was told they’d take care of it. It was still sitting there when we checked out. Smoking was allowed on the porch so each time we came and left we had to pass through a smoke field. The shower curtain was moldy, there were dead insects in the bathroom light and the bed spread was either stained or dirty. Not worth the price.

Nice location, clean,but when I called the staff for an issue I was having she told me flat out she didn't want to be bothered. I handled the problem myself. She should not be on call to help customers, especially telling them that she didn't want to be bothered. What is she getting paid for? Other than her I thought it was a great stay.

My main concern was the cleanliness of the pool; unless they use odorless chlorine, this pool had no chlorine at all, I felt as if taking a plain water bath in a bath tub. This was a turn off! Another bather shared my concern while at pool with me.
