This is our go-to spot when traveling in the Tahoe area. Less expensive than Tahoe, and fuel at Nevada prices, not California prices. We stay here every year and tell all our friends about it too.

I needed a place to sleep as my neighbor was playing overly loud obnoxious music. I found a room at the Motor Lodge, and hopped in the car. Place was lovely, quiet and clean. I was only there long enough to sleep, but it was exactly what I needed! I highly recommend this place if you are travelling through the Carson Valley!

We stayed in the motor lodge kitchen suites. It was updated. We thought there was a sofa bed. The sofa did not make out into a bed. So, if you need another sleep space you would need a rollaway. The motor lodge is a bit of a walk to the main hotel where pool, spa, check in, restaurants are located. Motor lodge is also right next to the trailer park.
