Anniversary trip

We atarted with just a quick stay but we relaxed so mich we extended our stay. They had to place us in a different room but they worked to make it as stress free as possible. Because we extended we were able to go on a hike to a water fall, see the nevada museum and go to Shakespeare at the lake. All of this and we had time to enjoy relaxing by the pool and in our room. We we out to eat once at the great basin brewery but the rest of the time used the kitchen to make food we brought with us. This has been amazing and we hope to come back again.

The location was perfect for the occasion. Room was spacious and comfortable. I was a little disappointed that they failed to “light touch” clean during my stay - trash built up and I had to come to the front desk to get more towels. We really enjoyed The Social with light food and drinks.

I like using Staybridge because I have food allergies and prefer to cook for myself when traveling for business. The kitchenette is adequate and they do offer a huge variety for breakfast so I am able to grab something before heading to the office. The lobby area is well designed and conducive to small conversations or informal but cozy dining and there is plenty of area to set up a workstation. The rooms offer a decent desk area and comfortable couch, but they switched out the TVs when I was there and I cant stream Netflix from my account (even though they are "Smart" TVs). On the old ones I could at least use the Screencast feature from my phone, but with the new ones I am stuck with boring local channels and NO GUIDE. :-(. Bad move with the TVs, unfortunately.
