We enjoyed our trip to Carson. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed two meals at the restaurant. The facilities are a bit worn, but we had a nice dip in the mineral pool.

We didn’t check in. When we arrived, the hotel had no power. The hotel told us they would refund us in full because the power was out and the rooms had no heat. We left without checking in. As of today, it has been a week and we still haven’t seen our refund yet.

Hot tub was great but terrible customer service. Reserved one night on expedia then added 2nd night. Called front desk with request for combined 2 nights stay and told it would be no problem. But worker called back and said she was "new" and did something with the reservation she "shouldn't" and that to fix it I should go through Expedia. I did and Expedia sent them messages requesting combined 2 nights. But when I arrived, I was charged not one, but two security deposits for the one room and required to check out and check back in. My keys were deactivated during my stay and front desk called to kick me out at "check out" after 1st night despite my having paid for 2 nights and being in the same room. Tried to get new keys with my things locked in the room, but the new keys they gave wouldn't work either. Housekeepers disturbed us 3 times with no "do not disturb" signs to use and they only apologized then moved on. On the 3rd time housekeeping knocked and tried to come in, they apologized and said "wrong room." They could have at least offered to make the bed or give fresh towels after hassling us, but they didn't. Seems employees need increased or improved training on customer service. I've stayed previosly so was disappointed how service has declined since my last stay 3 years ago.

It was a very pleasant stay for an affordable price, maybe they can give a little bit more of maintenance to some outside areas but in general I recommend this place if you’re looking a peaceful stay.

Misleading photos, place is beyond outdated, sheets and room were dirty and the staff left our door wide open after we requested house keeping. Blood on the lamp shade ….. just overall disgusting

Stroke juice in the air, migraine and nausea maker
This was out second visit. The first time we were so charmed by this place. We had a 3rd floor room with a hot tub and it was so quiet. So we went back. Ehem. We were greated by the noxious odor of cigarette smoke. Our 1st floor room smelled weird and when we went to open a window, more cigarette smoke. People were walking by and the neighbors smoked like the place was a homeless shelter. We complained and the neighbors moved once, watched us while smoking and flipping us off, then returned to smoking on their patio. With such permissive rules, its not exactly a place for welness and mountain air. The rooms are subpare so we were only there for the mineral water hot tub. Ruined by not being a smoke free property. We wont be back.
