This B&B is in walking distance of everything you want to see in the walled city. Within several blocks there are 3 plazas to relax ,eat and party. Our command of the Spanish language was limited but Rosario and Samir treated us like family and helped us as much as they could. The rooms were cleaned daily and supplied with fresh towels .This B&B has air conditioning, hot water. The rooms are small but lets face it, you are only there to sleep. I recommend this B&B if you are looking for a safe clean place to rest after a long day of exploring all the sites of Cartagena .

The location was perfect. There was not enough soap in the bathroom. Only one bar in the shower. None for handwashimg. The hangers for clothes were for children not for adults, Warm water was somewhat scarce

Great little spot

Lovely little spot in the walled city. Staff are very nice and helpful (... they don’t speak a lot of English but it was never an issue). Breakfast every morning was tasty and fresh. Highly recommend this place!

Great stay. Good location inside the ciudad amurallada. Fantastic service provided by Yeseira and Samir. Excellent breakfast cooked by charming Yeseira. I will be back!

Cosy boutique hotel with a spa tub!

Overall, this hotel is not as cheap as some of the others you can find here such as El Viajero but it has the added benefit of hot water, a much nicer bathroom and bedroom area and a spa tub on a rooftop terrace(Which was very relaxing). The service was very good and the free breakfast was delicious. The only downside for us was the skirting boards in our bathroom weren't sealed properly so after the first night we found 3 or 4 small cockroaches hovering around the cracks in the bathroom. Thankfully, the staff came up and sprayed the area which kept them away for 2 days until the last day when we found one in the face towel. (Not ideal). Thankfully, they never came into the bedroom where the aircon is a major plus.

Excellent! Your room is cleaned well daily, the free Colombian style breakfast adds to the already good value of this cozy establishment, the location is safe and you can walk to basically anywhere in the walled city. The sink and the shower have hot water, it just needs to be adjusted during usage. The rooms' air conditioning is excellent and you can set it to your liking.

the room was ok, very clean, the day administrator is a great person. she cleans, cook and manage the place with love, sadly in the night there is another person that is young. he was drinking a outing loud music until late in the night with another young customer. that destroy the good thinks of the place

Safe clean and quiet hotel!

The hotel is small - more of a bed and breakfast - located inside the walls in a safe area. The rooms are very clean and the fixtures in the bathrooms are modern. Personalized homemade breakfast is served when you wake up in the morning! The hotel owner was obviously very invested in the property and he stays up to make sure everyone gets home ok. He does not speak English but we were able to communicate in broken Spanish. We enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful boutique hotel

The hotel is situated in a nice quite street within the walled city. Well positioned to walk to all things in the old city. The hotel is very clean and well appointed. The lady who was preparing breakfast was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast included is delicious , I would stay here again on my next trip to Cartagena.

nice rooms with air conditioning at a good price but a lot of of confusion with the booking as they seem to have lost hotels.com reservation and then with paying they were not sure if it was possible to.pay with a foreign credit card ..which of course was possible .Breakfast was very nice with a.friendly cook

We loved our stay in Casa Serrezuela!

In Hotel Boutique Casa Serrezuela they took good care of us! Nora made us a delish daily breakfast but also made us laugh! We also loved the colorful streets, nightlife and restaurants of the walled city!

Give this place a miss - shambles

Utterly disappointed. Hotel was still be rennovated - electrical cables hanging out, ladders out, drilling... you name it! Told by surly receptionist that we could only stay for 2 nights of 3 nights we had booked. No reason given (overbooked?)Spoke with manager on phone, again no reason given. They offered us rom at their sister hotel, with upgrade. no early check in on the day at other hotel - so waiting around for hours with no room. No compensation for this. If it wasn't due to overbooking, they should have alerted us in advance, if it was then that it totaly unacceptable. Only nice thing was lovely lady who made us breakfast and cleaned. Other staff didn't seem to care. Give this place a wide berth!

We checked in last minute after struggling to find accomodation having just arrived from the San Blas islands. Hotel was very helpful despite the late night check-in, and the room was comfortable and air-conditioned. Great shower too. Breakfast was delicious. Staff very helpful, even with our limited Spanish.

Solicitamos una habitación con dos camas, ya que al hacer la reserva decía con dos camas individuales y al llegar no habían disponibles habitaciones con dos camas y nos dieron una habitación con una cama matrimonial, sumado a esto el segundo día nos querían subir el costo del alojo por alargar nuestra estadía. Lo positivo es la amabilidad de los trabajadores y la limpieza.
