I recently stayed at OZ Hotel Collection in Cartagena and overall had a good experience. The hotel is very clean and well-kept. From the moment you arrive, the doorman greets you warmly and helps with your bags, which made me feel welcome right away. The front desk staff were professional, though I think for tourism purposes, stronger English communication would really help international guests. One major disappointment during my stay was when I registered a guest to visit me at the hotel. Despite properly registering the person, once we entered my room, the staff immediately called and informed me that the guest could not stay. This left me feeling embarrassed and humiliated, especially since I followed the process in good faith. I later spoke with the manager Omar, who explained it was the hotel’s rule, but it would have been better if this policy was made very clear up front. On a positive note, I want to give a special shoutout to Edgar, the bartender, who has a wonderful personality and made the experience at the bar enjoyable. Staff like him truly add value to the hotel. Overall, OZ Hotel Collection offers a clean and comfortable stay with attentive service at the door and bar. However, clearer communication around guest policies and stronger English support would improve the experience for international visitors.

Only two negative things: they don't clean the toilet, and I requested two towels, and after 4 hours they never arrived. I had to go down to reception to request them again. One more observation: the reception staff should be more trained regarding tax-free issues for nationals and citizens.

La habitacion es muy limpia pero no tienen en la habitacion botellotas de agua, cafe, no tienen plancha, para comprar agua tienes que caminar para llegar a una tienda. En el servicio del desayuno el buffete es bueno pero los mesoneros no estan pendientes de atenderte con el cafe y el agua.

Hotel was nice but with the exception of a few the staff was unfriendly yet professional. Shower Water was hot but sink water was premixed and lukewarm. With only 2 elevators you were always waiting and it was always crowded. Breakfast was average or lower and it was crowded and people waiting around for seating. Also they charge for espresso. Housekeeping was excellent and friendly. The lobby bar was very expensive. You need a key to get to your floor so there is that extra level of security.
