The staff treated myself and the group i was with as if we did not belong. We were questioned about our skin color and occupations in an attempt to get additional money from us. We were harassed by police outside of the hotel because staff inside judged us due to our skin color. Our stay was uncomfortable from beginning to end. The only friendly staff member that was nice and accommodating to us was the bar tender, Alexander. To Alexander, thank you for all your help, patience, and good drinks!

The hotel room was filled with mosquitoes, the room was extremely hot ac didn’t work. The bed felt like a brick and the shower pressure was horribly painful, felt like I was getting rocked thrown at me on top of that the hot water didn’t work at all. I checked in around 5:30pm and left and an hour later due to the bad conditions. Had to find another hotel I got bitten a few times in the room.

I really enjoyed my stay at OZ Hotel. The best thing about the property is the staff. The rooms are a bit small but are good for two people. The room has no thrills but has everything you need, such as lamps, a wardrobe, a smart TV, and AC. The bed was average, about the housekeeping was very responsive on cleaning the room. Another thing I appreciated about OZ Hotel was their focus on water and energy conservation, which is a nice touch. My only criticism is that the rooms were not sound and if your a sensitive sleeper, I recommend bringing earplugs. Free breakfast is included in the morning, which was sufficient and better than most continental breakfasts ive experienced in the States. The Hotel also has a restaurant and bar, but I did not indulge in those services. Overall, I highly recommend this property if you plan to stay in Cartagena for a two-person trip. However, if you are a family or large group only wanting one room, definitely book a larger room or possibly look for another location.
