There was human feces all over the inside of one of the elevators and when I brought it up to the person working the front desk, she didn't seem to be real concerned about getting the issue resolved. With that being said, the feces had time to start drying on the walls and floor.
Came into town for a tennis tournament and I really enjoyed my stay at the Days Inn. The location of the hotel was convenient. Restaurants and the Tennis Center were all very close. Room was very clean and comfortable. Will look into staying here the next time I come back.
I had a great time in Rome, GA getting to see the Rome Emperors.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The hotel was old and in need of many updates. It smells wet and moldy and the room felt damp. The smell and appearance made it seem unclean and uncomfortable.

Liked: Staff & service
mediocre
safe and not gross, could use a refresh. The AC is very loud. Check in took longer than it should have.
The property is conveniently located to downtown without the price of staying downtown. The front desk and cleaning staff were very nice and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. But, the property is older and showing significant signs of wear and tear inside (wall damage, stained and damaged carpet, dull lighting, etc.); it felt very “shady.” Perhaps the biggest disappointment though was the breakfast. We didn’t have high expectations but when we arrived at 8am, many items had been picked over and not restocked, even the milk was empty.

Liked: Amenities
The chicken staff and Cleaning staff were friendly. The room smelled musky, and the carpet felt moist. I don’t know if it was due to the humidity or due to being wet from cleaning. The bathroom was clean, but the shower and bathtub looked old. The bed was the best part of it all very comfortable and very clean.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Could have been cleaner
Typical room. No shower pressure. No do not disturb sign in room. Questionable marks and stains on the wall next to the bed. Something a magic eraser could have taken off.
Ideal location for downtown.
The property is overrun by employees and their friends and family. Doors propped open with rocks. Encountered a man in stairwell twice. He was drinking, didn’t speak English, sitting on stairs. Pool full of people. Door to pool propped open with rock. Breakfast room unattended. Asked that buffet be replenished and she disappeared. Went back to prep area to find someone. It was filthy. Got help from front desk. Sheets and bath were clean, but environment in hotel doesn’t feel safe.
We stayed here so we could go to a Rome Emperors Baseball game. It was easy to get to the stadium from here. We have stayed here over the years. Even met some of the opposing team's baseball players that stayed here!😊
I’m genuinely surprised by the number of positive reviews this property has received. Based on my experience, I can only assume many of them are not authentic—possibly paid or incentivized, similar to fake social media followers.
While the staff was truly wonderful and did their best, the hotel itself was in poor condition. The renovation appeared rushed and low-quality, and unfortunately, we had no hot water during our entire stay. Thankfully, we were only there for one night and checked in late, checked out early.
I feel it’s important for future guests to know that there seems to be a significant gap between the marketing and the actual condition of the hotel. In its current state, this property feels more abandoned than inviting.
The photos posted looks nothing like the hotel. It is a very old hotel and is really dirty. Everything was outdated. The elevators acted as if they weren’t going to open. Not even 5 minutes of my children and I being in the room, someone opened my door. Thankfully I had the chain up. We did not stay at this hotel due to the condition and felt unsafe. I wasted money on a room that could’ve went to something better!
