The hotel is close to a few restaurants and a shopping strip. The staff was friendly, and the check-in/check-out process was straightforward. I did not have any issues and would stay there again.

Horrible room.
AC was leaking onto the carpet. Was soaked for the entire room. This must have been going on for a long time,and they tried to put us in that room. Management didn’t know or was just careless. Had to switch room. Of course no help with luggage. So far we got a “we are sorry for the inconvenience “. Really: exposing us to mold! If I had not been tired from an 8 hour drive I would have been out of there and not changed rooms. Horrible!!

The room felt very old and outdated . Paint on the wall was peeling, one of the lamp shades was damaged. The tv was VERY outdated. My wife and I finally had a night where we could watch tv and we couldn’t.

I'm not one to do reviews, but I use them frequently to book places. Given this place was listed as excellent and I spent over $300 for one night here, I felt a need to let others know of my experience. This was a busy time in Marietta, and so hotels were very booked, this place was no exception, I had the last room to hold 4 people, 2 beds. The hotel entrance was good and front desk staff was nice. However, we opened our hotel room door and had an instant smell of animal pee and mustiness. The carpet was wet, making the whole room, including sheets feel wet. We immediately went to the front desk who said this was the only room and since expedia, they couldn't do a refund. So we sucked it up- bought some lysol and sprayed the place down. This is an animal friendly hotel, and animal were allowed on the first floor, so the other floors/rooms may be better. The main point is that this room should never have been considered an open room on the hotel's room list. It should have had its door open with a fan blowing to properly ventilate and dry out the carpet. This room was disgusting and I will NEVER use Wyndom or La Quinta again. On another note, the room fire alarm went off at 3am. My husband climbed up to turn it off. It went off again at 3:15 am. My husband had to make a ladder on the bed to remove the alarm and take out the battery. He took it to the front desk where there was NO ONE, and the phone number had NO ONE pick up. So we left the alarm up there. It woke up our kids.

The employees up front were great. Our room however wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. We booked our room for June 29th. After we checked in to our room, we discovered there was old food dated from June 7th in the Chester drawer along with an open bag of twizzlers and left over cat food. Someone’s dress and trash was left in one of the drawers as well. The couch in the room had been heavily clawed up by a cat. There was pet hair all over the bottom of the bed.
