Mette & Dave love Grasmere!

It was the most wonderful stay of our trip to Australia/New Zealand. The hosts made you feel like royal. Glen the chef cooked up some tasty food, home made bread, juices, meats desserts etc. We didn't want to leave. Walking the grounds after dinner, star gazing, photos of the magnificent mountains that surround the property was something to remember for a long time.

Staff went out of their way to cater for our dietary requirements & made us feel very much at home. Quality accommodation but charging for WiFi these days is a little disappointing mainly for people who need to keep connected when there is no cellphone coverage. A 7 star hotel (a luxury country inn) in the middle of nowhere with homemade limited meal/drink (think 5 star price) options. Perfect for some but terrible for some people. No middle ground.
