The photos do not do this property justice. It was maintained to perfection and the staff was available for whatever requests you had. I felt safe the entire time and there were plenty of offsite excursions as well as just staying in to enjoy the view from your room. There was plenty to do on the property alone, from hiking to morning yoga to visiting the spa or just reading a book in the treehouse or a hammock. Food at the restaurant was excellent and there was plenty to choose from at breakfast. The menu for dinner rotated every couple days and we had the opportunity to try other restaurants in the area. We are definitely going to return to the property again.

Upon arrival at Caille Blanc we knew we had found the hidden gem of the island. I felt like I was walking into another world! The view literally took my breath away. I felt like we were being welcomed by friends and was immediately at home there. Every detail has been thoughtfully crafted to make your experience unique and special. The Grotto Suite was amazing and the bed was the most comfortable one I’ve ever slept in away from home! The multi-jetted rain style shower was a nice touch of luxury. We chose the all inclusive plan which did not disappoint and we happily dined on site for 8 days. I enjoyed every drink from breakfast smoothies to the creative cocktails and the pours were always very generous. I sampled everything on the menu and every meal was delicious! These chefs deserve so much credit for the love that goes into every plate. The portions, presentation and flavors all top notch-absolutely mouthwatering! Making our experience so unique was probably the staff and level of service. Everyone there seems truly happy and we could feel the family-like atmosphere that worked like a well-oiled machine. Any time we needed anything there was someone more than willing to help. Rides were arranged easily to the beach, town, mud bath and waterfalls. We finished up our week with an amazing couples massage in the open air space overlooking the mountains and ocean. If you are looking for an intimate, serene, luxury true island experience I’d recommend Caille Blanc every time!

My husband and I stayed at the Royalton Saint Lucia to celebrate my birthday and our babymoon, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Upon arrival, we were asked to complete a form indicating whether we were celebrating a special occasion. We noted both my birthday and our babymoon, but nothing was done to acknowledge either celebration. It wasn’t until the night before we checked out that a representative asked about our stay. After I mentioned that there had been no special recognition, they brought a bottle of wine—which was especially inappropriate considering I was pregnant. The resort itself is very basic, especially for the price. We specifically paid extra for the adults-only section, but it did not feel worth the additional cost. There was little to no entertainment after 8:00 p.m. Once dinner was over, the resort felt like a ghost town. Housekeeping was another major disappointment. Our room was not properly cleaned during most of our stay. It was only cleaned on our last night after we complained. The food was average overall. The Calypso restaurant was the highlight of our trip and offered the best dining experience. However, on our second day, lunch was served outdoors, and there were so many flies covering the food that it was difficult to enjoy the meal. The property was beautiful, and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were nice, and the air conditioning was excellent. However, the resort has no elevators, and when I booked the stay, I noted that the trip was to celebrate my mother's 85th birthday. They put us on the third floor, and it took 3 days to move us to the first floor. We never found the water park for which they gave us free passes.

I regretted bookong for only one night! Staff were very helpful and competent. The room was clean and roomy. The location is ideal, walking distance from groceries, restaurants and shops. I would go back to this hotel any day!
