Along with a full-service spa, this hotel has an outdoor pool and a restaurant. Free WiFi in public areas and free self parking are also provided. Additionally, a fitness center, a bar/lounge, and a poolside bar are onsite. Change of towels is available on request.
The Paloma Resort offers 63 air-conditioned accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors and feature minibars and laptop-compatible safes. I would have provided full marks but we had to wait an hour when we arrived for our room to be ready (they did comp us with a couple of free Palomas). Very nice rooms and the staff were super friendly/helpful overall.

Exceptionally disappointing service

An exceptionally disappointing experience on both the service and cleanliness of the room side. Upon check in, was given the keys to a room that was already occupied. Waited for 20 minutes while the staff tried to find another room and witnessed another guest, whose keys did not work, also wait 15 minutes to have their situation remedied. Was assured by the manager that she would make it right yet she has not responded to multiple requests by hotels.com to do so. Upon final entrance to the room, found the room was not vacuumed, and there was hair on the shower walls and in the sink as well as items left in the fridge.

A solid stay at the Paloma! The area was quiet and clean and our room was cozy! My only critiques were that it was difficult to find parking if you came back to the resort after 10PM. Also, The check in wasn’t very smooth - but it wasn’t the staffs fault! There were issues with the key systems - I just wish they were more attentive and apologetic. Overall - would visit again!

I have very mixed feelings about this property. Overall the good aspects of my stay outweighed the BAD however there were a succession of minor hiccups & over sights which were hard to ignore. The property itself was cute. The bungalows were tasteful & cute as was the pool area etc. Mostly it felt as if the problems arose from poor management or lack of well trained staff. Ranging from no front desk for check in, no pool towels for hours two days in a row, no toilet paper in pool bathroom despite me letting staff know for over 24 hours, the previous days towels & dishes left at the pool area well into the next day with no tidy up (no wonder there were never clean towels !!!!), and a room key which needed a new battery , no big deal but it took 40 min to track down someone to do so . We were seriously late for our dinner as we waited to lock our room & very nearly just left it unlocked with our valueables secured in our car. Nancy & others at the bar were fabulous but many little things were just slightly subpar. As well as the pervasive stink of old oil from the restaurant . But even after all that it was a positive experience which could be changed to excellent with a little more oversight & attention to detail.

We stayed 5 nights in the one bedroom suite, resort was super cute and we utilized many of the amenities- pool and poolside bar, pickleball, bicycles. Area is super quiet and felt very safe! Walking distance over to the target to buy our own food and drinks was a bonus! Drinks and food at the poolside bar were strong and good. Cons were the housekeeping- we did not receive housekeeping on the first day, we went to the front desk to request it for the following day as we weren’t sure if it was supposed to be daily- we were assured our room would be cleaned the following day so we got refills of what we required(coffee,creamer, Kleenex) from the front desk. When we return to our room the following night it had still not been cleaned. In total our room was only cleaned once for our 5 night stay. However, once it was cleaned they did do a good job. The other inconvenience is the contact to the front desk must be made through your own personal device. We were travelling from out of country and did not have access to cellphone texting that they wanted us to use. A couple times there was no one in the lobby to assist with a sign to text their phone-again something we were unable to do will no cell service. I tried using their messaging service through the email at check in and messages were never returned. It would be helpful to have another way of contacting them! The staff members we did come into contact with were all amazing and very accommodating! We will be back!

Different from Chain Hotels, Charming, Relaxing

This is an eclectic, wonderful little gem. The rooms have a Palm Springs mid century modern flair, with lots of light and open feeling. So much more light in the evening than a big box chain room.That would be wonderful for guests who use wheelchairs. Each room has its own individual froasted glass entrance door, and a large sliding glass door. So room access is from the outside, not a lobby or hallway, and you can access your room directly from the parking lot, without any stairs or inclines. The showers are in large, well lit bathrooms with ample room to maneuver a wheel chair or walker, or just spread out. The room is wide on either side of the bed, but small. Large screen TV. Downside, as far as I could figure, only your own subscription services seem to be options for the TV, (no cable stations), and there is NO phone. So forget calling the front desk or setting a wake up call.

This hotel really doesn't offer anything. Cute (but sparse) room design, there was one bath towel, various things were broker, living room was very dark, not even a bottle of water and no sundries shop to buy one. I was looking for a boutique hotel, and am always willing to pay for it, but missed the simple things that are routinely provided by every cookie-cutter chain hotel. The Paloma really missed the mark.

Beautiful Palm Springs retreat

We left LA in a hurry due to the recent wildfires. The Paloma came up in my hotel search for the Palm Springs area. What a wonderful place. The rooms and grounds are really beautiful, new, fresh and clean. The pool area is delightful. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, especially during what was a chaotic period. The price was also very reasonable, especially given the quality of the property. I would stay again and recommend to anyone for a visit to PS.
