Very clean room, great shower and comfy beds. Excellent location. It’d be nice to have muffins, pancakes and/or waffles available for breakfast.

The motel has bed bugs. Checked the beds immediately upon entering the room and found them, however the staff say they don’t have them and will not provide a refund.

I would give it a 6 if I could. The place is spotless and updated. Bed very comfortable. The AC works great. I loved the pool after a long day on the motorcycle. I walked down to the look off (15 minutes) after dinner at the pub next door and took in the sunset. The breakfast staff is highly professional and friendly. In a world of very few good deals left, The Cavendish Motel is exactly that.

Its needs some upkeep. The decking all around seems soft. The pool was dirty. The linens needed replacing. The guy running the breakfast was awesome, so cheerful first thing in the morning. Food was ok, nice to get free breakfast. It was supposed to have laundry facilities but it didn't.

Family days

We stayed in the annex. Cottage was small but comfortable and clean, minus a few earwigs by the door as we were leaving. Staff was supreme, very friendly. Breakfast was nice and welcoming. And is convenient for all the tourist activities. Our first night was excellent, second night our “neighbors “ were very noisy. Thumping and banging most of the night. But all in all, would stay again.

A good nights stay

Location was great, rooms were small but good enough for what little time you spend in them. Cleaned daily , Staff are friendly, breakfast is decent and my kids loved the pool. It’s exactly as you expect for a motel. Lots of food, shopping and scenic views within walking distance if you so choose.
