The property was extremely clean and well kept. Beautiful lush, tropical grounds. Everyone was we encountered during our 3-day stay was kind and accommodating. Everything we tried at the restaurant on-site was tasty and fresh. If you are looking for somewhere quiet and secluded El Ben, is for you!

Overall the property is beautiful. Our room was lovely and the food at the restaurant was very good. The grounds are also remarkable. However, the location is terrible! We had not realized that the island is split into two parts and EVERYTHING you want to do from snorkelling to shopping to bars snd restaurants is on the south side…. This hotel is in the north!! We were very restricted as to how late we could stay out as the boat transfers from the hotel and the island ferry service only goes until ten…. and stops much earlier when the weather is bad! We had to carefully plan when we could leave the hotel to go to town and worse , had to constantly be aware of the time when we were out as if we missed the last boat transfer we would be stuck in the south!! I would never ever stay in the North unless you desire absolute isolation and quiet!! Finally, we had to take a 7 am ferry back to Chetumil Mexico which meant we HAD to get a boat from the hotel at no later than 6:15…. We had been assured that there would be a boat on the dock at that time. The boat was not there snd only arrived 25 minutes later ! We barely made it to our ferry!! The boat driver didn’t even apologize for being late!! In any case, it is a shame as outside if this the service at the hotel was outstanding….. in particular one extremely helpful and delightful woman named Sarah!! In any event, I would unfortunately not stay here ever again despite the fact that the hotel is indeed beaituful!!

Everything about our stay was perfect. The staff were so nice and welcoming. The food and cocktails at the restaurant were great and everyone was helpful. Our stay was shortened by 2 nights because of a storm but the resort was nice enough to refund the nights lost although they didn’t had to. Britney at the desk was in contact with us the whole time to assist with boat, golf cart, tours and any request. She made our stay so much more easier and we are absolutely grateful for everything. The place is gorgeous and peaceful. We would recommend to anyone!

My wife & I stayed here recently for a wedding at another property. We loved El Ben! The staff was great & so accommodating. The golf cart availability & boat back & forth from the south end were so convenient.

The staff were incredible! They felt like family. The food at their restaurant, T&T, was excellent as well. Special transportation options with their own skiff we're also available. The bungalows were well appointed and super comfortable.

Everything was wonderful. All staff members were friendly, attentive , and helpful. Restaurant was good. Visited during slow season and everything was quiet & peaceful. Access to town via complimentary water taxi was essential. Will absolutely stay again. Definitely advise to bring mosquito repellent.

The A/C should’ve been better. It was not strong enough for being in that type of hot environment. The ocean front smells bad because of the water. But everything else was beautiful and very nice.

Amazing stay at a beautiful property! Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, rooms were lovely and the property was everything needed for rest and relaxation. Though away from the North side of the island- they have a boat and a golf cart to get you across as you wish. Food was also good!

The place did not have a beach area. It was too hot inside the room, with inadequate air conditioning. Additionally, the bathroom shared the same roof as the room.

The staff was responsive when alerted to air conditioner malfunction and were able to move us to another cabana. However, this cabana had structural issues in the flooring that would trip you if not careful. Also-as they are authentic roofs particles fall from them fairly constantly. Be aware that the 'north side' is away from the more active/party side of the island: this is what we were looking for but may not be for everyone.

From beginning to end this place was absolutely amazing. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. My husband and I went fishing one day and the chef at the restaurant was kind enough to cook our fish for us. He did an amazing job. Very thankful.

Loved my stay at El Ben’s! The property never felt crowded during our stay, or too noisy ant any point. Our cabaña was clean and spacious. The food was delicious, and the staff were so friendly and approachable. The office staff was extremely accommodating to our needs (I messaged them a lot LOL), and really made us feel like our stay was seamless. Whenever we needed to book a boat/golf cart to the mainland or the Spit to Split Ferry we were able to do so with ease. They even helped us book our snorkeling excursion (which was also a 10/10 with EZ Boy Tours). It was the perfect relaxing, secluded environment my fiancé and I were looking for, for this birthday trip. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Caye Caulker!

It was heaven on earth. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. The room was amazing as it was clean, restful and quiet. The food at the restaurant was delicious and economical. We had everything taken care of by the staff as far as getting to and from the airport. Highly recommended from this traveler.
