We absolutely loved our stay at Maya Beach Hotel! The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and was the perfect place to relax during our time in Placencia. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the restaurant. The menu had a great variety of interesting and delicious dishes, and the food was excellent. In our opinion, it was one of the best restaurants we experienced in the Placencia area. We enjoyed it so much that dining there became part of the experience of staying at the hotel. The beach was also beautiful and very enjoyable during most of our stay. Unfortunately, on our last day, a large amount of sargassum washed ashore, but of course, this is something natural and beyond the hotel’s control. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, the beach, and especially the amazing food. We would definitely recommend Maya Beach Hotel and would happily stay here again!

Staff did a great job with cleaning our room. You MUST notify them when you want it to be cleaned. We booked a big room and had to downgrade to a smaller one because of construction that starts very early. I was expecting some money back or incentives due to the downgrade. But nothing. Any issues you have, and I mean as soon as it happens. Notify them. We had an issue with our golf cart the 1st day and I mentioned it. My boyfriend and hotel manager said everything was okay. And we continued driving a busted golf cart (unknowingly because no one was a certified mechanic). Until we got into an accident (yes we are ok and so was the other person) that’s when they looked at it…and what do you know? Mechanic advise us to get a new golf cart. Unfortunately this was looked at the day before we left. If you’re in your 20-35, or just lit, looking for fun vibes. This may not be the hotel. It gave very much for older folks or families. Pool is only 5ft deep and closes by 10pm. Keep in mind if it’s slow, kitchen will close early. They do provide sunscreen, aloe Vera and bug spray all the time. Food 10/10 GET THE CEVICHE. Happy hour at Aji 🔥 Cleanliness 9/10 Property 5/10 construction and the “private beach” was murky green water with lots of seaweed Staff 10/10 most of the staff were good vibes

This was our second stay with Belizean Coves Estate, and it won't be our last. Service was (as always) impeccable along with the amenities. My grandchildren were in the pool and the staff (without asking) got floaties out for them to use. That's the kind of service you receive here.

Pur was unique and beautiful. Relaxing. Quiet.. Sexy. Every one works there knew your name and was so pleasant and pleased to help you. Food and drinks were 💯. Hot showers cold rooms. Love the location. Will be back. Thank you for your hospitality for making me feel like family. 👍 Mark

If you are looking for the jungle experience than this is the place for you. We were greeted by the local troop of Howler monkeys on arrival. Beautiful house right on the river. Locals had been seeing Manitee in the river near the house. Kenny and Shanna were great. We are already planning a return trip.

We had a great time staying at Villa Massis. The entire staff was very friendly and very accommodating and very warm and they took good care of us while we stayed there.

The staff was so kind and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable. Our lodging was perfect with so many amenities including blender, toaster, refrigerator, utensils and hot plate. They even had darts and pingpong next to the pool. The food was Delicious and the chefs were so accomodating. We loved every minute of our stay. It was easy to get to Big Rock Falls which was our favorite!
