I recently booked this hotel through Expedia that clearly stated breakfast included in the room rate. However, when we arrived at the hotel, the front desk informed us that our reservation did not include breakfast. This was very disappointing and frustrating, especially since one of the main reasons we chose this property was the included breakfast.We showed the staff Expedia website which mentioned breakfast, but they said it was a mistake on Expedia’s end and that they couldn’t do anything about it. We ended up having to pay extra for breakfast each morning.I reached out to Expedia customer service, but the response was slow and unhelpful — they didn’t take responsibility for the inaccurate information. I expected better from a major booking platform.Expedia needs to ensure the details on their listings are accurate and that customers aren’t misled by incorrect descriptions. This experience made our trip more stressful than it should have been, and I’ll be more cautious using Expedia in the future.
