We enjoyed our stay at Harolds, the hotel staff were great and my daughter was extremely pleased with the great Mocktails created by Christian at the Roof Deck. We were at the hotel during the earth quake, and I would like to compliment the staff on the professional manner in which they conducted themselves and ensured the safety of all guests.

The staff are very good. Just a suggestion my only request is to put a freshener in your elevator coz the guests can smell something stinky like trash or canal or something like a plumbing problem. Put a steady freshener that spray every 60 seconds like a glade freshener on top of the elevator. Thats my only concern. We stayed 3 times from May -June

I had a couple of issues with the staff there not communicating things properly. Specifically, I had asked the front desk staff about the closest pharmacy. The staff said they would go get the medicine for me, but I was left waiting with no update, until I finally checked on it about an hour later. Turns out, it's against hotel policy to go run an errand like that. Completely understandable, but as soon as they were told they could not follow through on what they told me they would do, I should have been informed so I could go get the medicine I needed for myself. This was the biggest issue I had. If you stay here, you have to go enjoy the roof top restaurant/bar. Sometimes, they have live music and it's a really nice experience, including great food and drinks.

My stay with Harolds is pretty decent. I was a little bit disappointed because I booked a Superior Room, 1 King Bed but the room looked dated. The flooring near the desk was damaged and was a tripping hazard. The room did not have a blowdryer and hair conditioner which is what I believe to be a norm in hotels. The room was spacious enough to accommodate all my belongings and the AC was really cold, which is super ideal. Staff members were quick to respond to requests - very commendable. Also, the breakfast options were really good and tasty. Overall, it was a good experience and I will consider Harolds next time I visit Cebu.
