The place was really grungy. My wife had to clean the bathroom before she could use it because the walls and toilet were so dirty. The carpet in our room was badly worn out and really dirty. The bathroom faucet didn't work very well. The toilet tank wouldn't stop running. The fridge was very noise, had to turn it off. The mattress was at least 30-40 years old and very uncomfortable. The bed linens were not clean and didn't fit very well so they were sloppy and uncomfortable all night. Someone kept propping the side entrance open with a rock when it was supposed to be locked. We didn't feel safe in the property. "Continental breakfast" consisted of bread, butter and apples. There wasn't even a toaster. The pool was closed and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Booked for 2 nights but couldn't bring ourselves to stay the second night so we had to pay for a different hotel. Staff seemed quite apathetic at best. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience! We will never book with this chain again!!

We were disappointed by how the hallways looked, carpets were dirty and had stains throughout the building. On the good side, beds are good, large rooms.

America’s Best Value Inn in Cedar City is in a very convenient location for my travels from Colorado to California. The price is very reasonable and the hotel is easily accessible from I-15. I’ve stayed a few times now. While not in the top of the line level of hotels, it serves my needs for a safe, quiet place to stay for a night during my travels. Traveling on a budget, it meets the need.

I booked this hotel for my wife while she was on a road trip. The main reason was for the pool. Turns out the pool and hot tum were closed because of the health department. I get that this happens, but there was no mention on the website, no sign in the lobby, no mention at check by the staff only a small sign on the gate to the pool. The pool is in their main picture on their site. Very disappointing. The free continental breakfast was basically no-existent. 1 bagel, 5 mini muffins, and coffee for all the guests to share. You have to look really close at the picture to see it.

Iffy even as a last resort

This was probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed at, including travel to third world countries. I had a last minute change of plans and booked this hotel on the weekend of a bike race in Cedar City. So it was one of the few options available. I saw it had breakfast and a pool and thought it wouldn't be that bad but boy was I wrong. The pool was closed by order the health department and there was no breakfast offered. The carpets were filthy with trash in the hallways, and the entire hotel reeked of weed even though all the rooms in my hallway were marked as no smoking. There was a security light outside my window that was flickering on and off the entire night The air conditioning barely functioned; I don't know if it was any better than just a fan blowing air. I only rated it two stars because at least the beds were clean and relatively comfortable.

The property was very dirty. There were blood spots on the comforter, the carpet was disgusting in the room and the hallway, and the blow dryer was sticky! People were smoking right outside the door so smoke was drifting into our room. They had a washer and dryer for guests to use (coin operated) and one look in the washer I didn’t do my laundry. The clothes would have come out dirtier than when they went in!

That hotel is so nasty carpet is so dirty. There’s trash everywhere. Ice machine was not working tubs on the paint in the hallway. The breakfast wasn’t breakfast bagels with no cream cheese. The motel is nasty

staff never at the desk , have to call a number to get him to come to desk....carpet in room dirty , needs deep cleaned badly...dead spiders in corner of room....looks like animal pee stains in rug...tv doesn't work...our room was last in the hallway...room 1109.....stairway on other side of wall..noisy as hell , people going up an down stairs....pool not open and area around it trashy and unorganized..room smelt like pee...only redeeming quality of this motel was bed was comfortable and shower was great....other than that...do NOT recommend
