I did not stay because Expedia would not change my date because it was the wrong day I was in town! I made a mistake in making the reservation and called Expedia to change it and nothing happened so I ask Expedia for a refund! Nothing happened! I called La Quinta a Nd ask them and they said to call Expedia! So my experience with both parties was terrible! So they charged me 150.00 for a night that I was not in town! Hope you all are happy! I won’t be using Expedia or La Quinta from this day forward!!

The hotel was good overall. However there were a few issues. Only one elevator was working. The TV wasn't working at first. Once it was fixed the screen would go black for a second every 30 to 40 seconds which was annoying. There was a crack in the shower foot that made it look dirty. And the sink was slow draining.

Horrible Service/Room

Prepaid a two queen bed room and arrived at 9:45pm and was told they only had one room in the first floor for me. I went to check out the room and it was in shambles with curtain torn…it was horrible. They told me to check another hotel across the street to see if they had any rooms available!! After a long day of driving and my family very tired and cranky that was the last thing I needed. The next day I went to speak to the general manager to see about a refund, front desk person said I would t see my money anytime soon because the manager was away for a convention!!!! What a crappy hotel….never staying at a La Quinta again.

Pleasantly Surprised

We chose this hotel because we are driving across country and were looking for accommodations for our two toddlers and dog. This hotel exceeded our expectations. The service was very friendly. Our king suite was very large and felt relatively newer. It was spotless. Nice trail to walk dog behind property and clean pet area. What really blew us away though was the included breakfast which is offered at 6 am during the week and 7 am on the weekend. They offered so many options in a nice dining room- yogurt/oatmeal with toppings, waffle makers, eggs/potatoes/sausage or bacon, lots of options for bread/bagel/pastry. One morning they had biscuits and gravy, the other breakfast burritos and beans. The kids just loved it and it made our travels that much easier. The hotel is really well positioned between all of the attractions- Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Grand Staircase. We went to Red Canyon which is similar to Bryce with the hoodoos but dog friendly and way less crowded. We would totally come back without the dog and stay here to visit other areas. Cedar City has a great little downtown for dinner 5 min away from hotel- we really enjoyed Centro Woodfired Pizza.

Burnt vacuum belt smell everywhere except the main lobby. TV and phone didn't work. Chatting with the front desk to resolve the TV not working ( we'll be right up ) and no staff ever showed up.
