I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Millwright. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. The hotel is beautiful and displays memorabilia throughout. The A/C in my room worked well and was very quiet! Very little outside noise (including thunderstorms) could be heard in my room, although I was able to hear noisy neighbors in the hallway and slamming doors. There are elevators to get to the 2nd floor, even though one site stated there were none. I liked I could store food and drinks in the mini refrigerator in my room and heat up leftovers in the microwave. The shower was a spa experience! It is in walking distance of great restaurants and Amana shopping. I highly recommend Hotel Millwright and would definitely stay there again.

The hotel Millwright is unique with decorative touches throughout from the historic mill. It is clean, spacious and the staff are friendly and welcoming. There are shopping and dining options within walking distance. Highly recommend staying here when visiting the Amana Colonies!

Unique & safe place to stay for an extended weekend for a girls trip! Beds were extremely comfortable. Rooms were spacious. Decor was beautiful and historic. Restaurant on property had good food for breakfast and dinner, with other options in walking distance.

Lovely hotel inside the Amana Colonies

Newly restored boutique hotel in the old Amana Mill complex. Spacious room, large wail-in shower, very clean, interested decor from the old mill, nice restaurant for breakfast, easy walk to the Amana Colonies shops next door.

We had a very spacious suite with a full size refrigerator, dining table, couch, chairs, TV in a room separate from the bedroom. The hotel was very interesting with many of the items from the old milling company used in the decor. The restaurant was great, too.

Loved our stay at the German colony. Food at the hotel was outstanding. A wonderful chef. The German restaurants were very good. The Brewhouses fun to walk to and good entertainment. It was a wonderful 3 day stay.

Our room smelled musty. We think it was coming from the carpet. Unfortunately, they were unable to move us, the only other room was pet friendly. Their solution was to turn the AC fan up full blast, that did not help. Shower had an empty shampoo container. Coffee maker mad diluted coffee.

We loved all the nooks made for sitting with friends. Great bar/dessert bar area. We grabbed two leather chairs next to a window. Ya gotta try the brownie cookie, cherry ice cream sandwich - freaking amazing!
