Good Place
Clean room, comfy bed. Shower very accessible, fan on heater/ac very quiet. Great value for the price, except for the pet fee which was higher than most places at $25/day.

Inside the hotel was great, but there were a lot of people just standing around outside. It seemed very strange. But the hotel staff were efficient, seemed to know what they were doing, friendly, and it was very clean. It is located right across from Iowa River Landing, where there were a ton of shopping and dining options

I was up most of the night from overnight road construction will not stay there again until finished. I should of been informed about it before checking in.

I have issues with scents and the pillows weren’t bad they still had a scent to them. Also the lamps by the bed weren’t very bright for reading. But overall was pleased with the room and would stay again.

The property is a 5 min. drive from the U of Iowa campus. Free breakfast had lots of hot and cold options. The beds are very comfortable. AC worked great. Property is lower frills but certainly acceptable for a short stay.

Our stay was overall as expected with just a couple of issues I hope the owner finds a way to address. The property looks to have been recently updated. Location is conveniently located off Interstate 80 and only a short drive UIHC, the reason for our stay. The only issues we ran into were they DO NOT have an elevator to access their 2nd floor rooms. As more family came to stay and they had to pay extra to switch rooms, because there were no more rooms with a king size bed on the main floor. Steps are unsafe for this family member as they use a wheeled waller to get around. The final charges to my credit card were $7.32 more that the online Expedia total and even the inital PRE-AUTH Charge on my card. Upon calling I was told it was a 'Credit Card Surcharge' and was told that was on something i signed at check-in. Yet my PRE-AUTH charge was the same as my Expedia booking total. $7.32 may seem like pennies to some. Then you get that surgery bill from UIHC, the whole reason you stayed, and it feels like a lot more.
