This was the worst place I've ever in my life stayed. The smell in the room was enough to make you sick. Unfortunately we had no other place to go. Loud and unsavory people wandering around the entire time. When it came time to leave we found out a car had been ransacked! Woman at the front desk said "we could file an incident report if we wanted to", she clearly really didn't care and couldn't be bothered. DO NOT stay at this hotel , especially if you have children. Crack heads and/or homeless wondering all over the parking lot, in and out of hotel. Fake reviews and UNSAFE!!

This is clearly a distressed property. Building is in overall rough condition and in need of a renovation. Probably hasn’t seen a facelift in over 20 years. Peeling paint on bathroom ceiling, funky odors in hallway and in room. Carpet coming apart. Very limited housekeeping services. Wound up going to the dollar store and buying a bottle of Febreze for the room. Nowhere near worrh the $600 I dropped for a weekend stay.

My initial impression when I walked into the hotel was that it was a bit dated. The main lobby was clean and the front desk attendant was pleasant and professional. When I got to my room, I did find some hairs on the one beds comforter. The other bed however was clean. That night I was woken up at 2 in the morning to a loud mechanical sound that did not stop until close to 330 am. I stopped down to the front desk around 3am and asked what was causing the noise below my room ( I was on the 2nd floor) and I was informed the compressor for the fire sprinkler system was causing the noise and usually only last 10 minutes but had not shut off for some reason. Since they were full they could not move me to another room. Fortunately the hotel manager did make up for this inconvenience by knocking 50% off my 1st nights stay and they were able to find me a new room for the following night. Needless to say while it wasn’t the best place I’ve stayed, the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. I honestly think if they could put some more money into updating the facilities and hiring more help with housekeeping it would be a really nice hotel.

The rooms need a good go over. The rugs are old and smelly. The new windows don’t open, making the rooms hard to freshen up with outside air. After the first night with the air conditioner on it was much better. The price is ok for the reasons we had to be in Rutland.

We stayed here during the VT State Fair. Super easy to walk across the street to the fairgrounds. Room was clean, staff were nice. Walking distance to fast food or a bar down the road. Pool looked nice, but did not use. Would stay again.

The hotel was decent. It was clean but a little dated. It also had a musty smell but there is a pool on the property so that is sometimes the cause. The one thing I thought was very odd was the smoke detector in the room was covered by a plastic bag, I did let the front desk know right away but they were not sure why. I just thought that was a little unsafe and not sure why housekeeping did not notice it.
