Excellent front office staff. Second floor landing floor was slanted and so was the banister. Cobwebs and spiders on lamps on landings, rust in tubs and sinks, kinda creepy. Had to put a towel at the bottom of the door so people couldn’t see in as my door had a large gap. On third floor there was a staircase that hard trash cans hiding around the corner as if it was storage.

Staff was so charming upon arrival. He offered us water and coffee. It was almost as if he knew we had a long journey. The room, we slept like babies. The twin sized beds were most comfortable for sleep. Living it up the hotel Coolidge. Such a lovely place!

A lovely hotel with wonderful character - dated facilities but so much more interesting and unique than the typical chain hotel. Staff was lovely and accommodating. I enjoyed the free coffee in the lobby in the morning and reading a book by the picture windows in a comfy arm chair. Would definitely stay again.

Very old property. Bathroom shower was just a curtain and drain on the tile floor. No room darkening shades so room fully light at sun up. No one cleaned room during our two night stay despite signs in bathroom advising on where to put towels if we wanted clean ones. Overall Clean and nice staff but would not stay here again.

Charming historic hotel with unpretentious comfort

I thoroughly enjoyed the Hotel Coolidge (with 19th century roots) because it is so old-fashioned and quirky. The furnishings were simple—no phone chargers here—but clean and comfortable. The linked room was perfect for me and my teenaged son as they were separate rooms linked by a bathroom. The hotel is downtown right next door to a delicious Turkish cafe and pastry/breakfast shop. The only potential downside was freight trains running by quite close to the hotel overnight several times, with lots of whistling. I thought it only lended to the ambience but it did wake me up. I intend to be a frequent visitor to the Coolidge!

This is a very old hotel built in the 1920's that still has some charm, but mostly is in need of some updating.The first thing you notice is the awning over the front door, we were wondering if we wanted to stay here! We walked in the lobby which smelled musty and needs re-decorating. Tom at the front desk was friendly. The room and bathroom were clean, so ok for one night. Overall this seemed too expensive for the condition of the place. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it.
