I was in Cessnock for a medical procedure. My room was set up for manging disabilities. I wasnt expecting a shower chair. Having it provided by the motel was a bonus. Small things made my stay moe pleasant than I expected when I asked for a ground floor room.

I have stayed a few times for work in the Cumberland motel till now it was satisfactory but unfortunately this time my room didn’t have HWS had to have a cold shower .my colleagues room the blanket had 2y pieces of gum stuck to it . I would give them another opportunity but if it’s still like this even know you pay little u should get Hotwater and clean blankets

Think “American Horror Movie” - blood on the ripped curtains, soiled couch, woke up mosquito bitten, cracked tiles and dripping tap. Pool was green on a 32 degree day. Could hear everything happening in the room next door. Gardens overgrown with weeds. Gross. Only stay if you’ve got no other choice.

Handy to the hotel next door for food and drink. Toilet needs attention as is running all the time, creating noise. Air conditioner not working. Day 2 cleaned and made beds, but did not resupply towels etc.

Family room had one small 'window'. Like being in a cell. Room / bathroom in terrible condition - most timber / furniture rotten from moisture. Pretty filthy - our socks turned black from walking on the floor. Futon was filthy and unmade.
