All was delightful. We ate dinner at the restaurant and was very good! Room was clean. No fan or air conditioning, fortunately we didn’t need it. We left a window open and was cool enough to sleep.

Overnight stay in Rennes area

The hotel is in a picturesque area, surrounded by ponds and a canal and is very quiet. We had a large room with seating and views over the water. It's not a modern building as it once was a working mill. The hotel has its own restaurant but there are others nearby and free parking closeby.

Hotel with charm and character and view over river. (Frogs chorus at night, natural of course, might need blocks for the ears if keeping window open to ease heat). Relaxed, pleasant hotel crew. €13+ each added for breakfast seemed a bit much?!

The lack of the staff understanding English comprehension was difficult for them and us. They really tried to be helpful but since everything on site was in French it was hard to communicate.
