This place was loud, dirty, and distasteful. Not impressed, would not recommend. For instance, I got out of the shower and walked over to the bed. The carpet was so gross my feet felt sticky. I wiped them off with a washcloth and it was black, the carpet is so dirty. Got some food in the bar, was so loud and vulgar. Drunk guys screaming obscenities. The bar staff were the only helpful people in the place. If you are a tired traveler, DO NOT STAY HERE.

The view of the Missouri River is amazing

The rooms don't have all the current amenities (like chargers and easy plugs) but it was comfortable and the view outside was gorgeous. Sunrise was late and we were able to catch it and take a lovely walk. We saw lots of pets there. Most nearby restaurants won't deliver but the hotel restaurant food was decent. Seriously, though - the view. Amazing. Just don't get a room that overlooks the pool or you won't be able to see much of anything.

I enjoyed a quiet stay at Cedar Shores during the off season, late September. I loved the outdoor space with seating to enjoy the scenic views. After a day of traveling it was a comfortable stay.

There was a wedding being held there the following day and they said they have them every weekend in the summer season, so that tells you what you need to know about the view. The facilities were great and we were only there one night while doing a cross country road trip, but still enjoyed them. We ate at a pizza place on the other side of the river as we drove in to town, but next time would eat at the hotel and enjoy their river view while we ate.

Sticky carpet, clean room, nice view

This hotel desperately needs a remodel. The carpet was sticky and overall rooms are dated. We had a room facing the water so there were two doors into the room and it was difficult to get both to close.

We chose Cedar Shores because it was on the Missouri River with very nice views and green space. Price was same if not better then one in town. Has restaurant and bar with great prices, food was great and staff was wonderful! Would definitely stay here again.

We had the worst room possible thanks to Expedia holes in the walls ceiling peeling off very noisy kids in the pool, a pool side room we paid extra for it came with chairs at our back door over looking the pool but alway taken by pool people that were not hotel guests and the boom, boom, boom 5:00am exercising above our room banging on our ceiling no sleep was not a vacation! Stay away from room 104
