Room was clean, but had flies and gnats buzzing around inside the room. Single room was small, no desk, "office" chair wouldn't raise up. Staff were still cleaning when i checked in after 6pm. AC unit was LOUD, and wouldn't adjust to cool w/o a lot of FAN NOISE, so I had to turn it off (which left room humid.) Otherwise satisfactory, but for one night only.

Very Strange

From the pictures on the website, I couldn’t tell if some of the rooms were really really small, that’s the way it looked so I booked a room with extra beds. I didn’t need any extra beds. I just did not want to feel claustrophobic in a small room. When I got there, the girl at the desk who seem to be on something told me that I didn’t need that room and she would put me someplace else and get me a refund of the difference. She showed me a room that was fine so I said OK. She was very high anxiety, nervous, manic, and quite frankly I didn’t wanna deal with her. The room smelled very strongly of some kind of air freshener, but that went away after we ran the fan for a while. Room itself was OK. It had what we needed and was clean and well kept. I never did get any kind of a refund and I am not at all surprised about that. I think when you rent a room, it’s not their call to decide to change it if you are willing to pay for it, and it was already paid for with my credit card through hotels.com. It was really weird. We left in the morning without getting any ice because they keep it inside the office and the door was locked so it didn’t appear anyone was there or available so we dropped the key and left.

Rustic and Comfortable

I really enjoyed the size of the room and the separation of the beds into two enclaves. It was almost like having separate rooms. I also enjoyed the woodwork in the room.

Richard was very accommodating and gave us an upgraded room with a river view. No ice maker on site but when we asked, Richard gave us a full bag of ice. Grocery store less than one minute away by car. Ask for a remodeled room

Easy to find however,walking up to the door we noticed what poor condition it was you could see outside through the bottom edge of door, curtain was hanging off the rod I had to fix it. Bathroom was very clean and in good shape. When pulling back the comforter the sheets had some stains on them and the sides of mattress were stained ?( not something you want to see) and the knock on our door at 8:30 was not appreciated.

Didn’t have the rooms I paid for (3 bed suites) Ended up putting teenagers in a separate room. Scary. Bathroom door didn’t shut. Room near road was noisy and window shade in door didn’t completely shut. People in parking lot threatened my teenage son. Manager pounded on my door at midnight threatening to call police thinking I was harboring someone. Thankfully kids slept through that. Not even an apology for having the wrong room. Definitely not worth the price!! Next time I would keep driving if that was all that was available.

The guy who helped me to check-in was extremely nice! We checked in super late (around 2AM) and he didn’t hesitate to offer to help me carry my luggage from the car. The rooms were much more updated on the inside than I would have thought. We had reserved a room with two queen beds, but ended up with two queen beds and a twin. It was a great layout!
