I debated about going with the local mom and Pop Motel versus a chain like Wyndham, I should’ve gone with a mom and pop. Our only encounter with staff was a young teenage boy who checked us in and also came to our room to address a non-working refrigerator and a noisy guest across the hall. While he was mature for his age and kind, it is quite odd that a chain motel does not have an adult visible for guests. There is no elevator so not handicap accessible. The exterior doors do not lock which is a security issue. The area surrounding the motel is quite rundown with a homeless shelter, just behind the hotel. The air conditioner vents had mold on them. The room smelled of pets, but the bed was comfortable. This is our second Wyndham motel in the past two months and we will not be staying at this chain again.

air conditioner was way to loud and constantly turned on/off. Room is outdated and damp feeling. Front desk person couldn't understand /speak English when asked questions regarding what I was billed. He had a phone call and that person on the line couldn't understand him as well. Would not recommend.
