My wife and I loved the location, it was fantastic. We were on the ground level and the ability to interact with the locals was great. The facility was very nice and the pool and sauna was very nice. It is both secluded as well as very walkable to all points in Chamonix. Parking is a valued part of the reservation. The bed was very comfortable and other than being a bit dated inasmuch as furniture, it was a comfortable 10 night stay. I will be back, I have stayed at other hotels before in Chamonix and as mentioned, I will be staying there again. Close to skiing, dining, and nightlife. Friendly staff, available 24 hours. Merci’

Our family of 4 loved our stay in the quaint Les Balcons du Savoy! Staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The view of the surrounding Alps is spectacular! The property is an easy walk to the main street of Chamonix (lots of restaurants and shopping) as well as a short bus ride to the gondola for skiing. Thank you for a fabulous stay!

The property was well located to visit the town and see the resort. The room had a kitchenette which allowed us to relax and not feel pressure to eat out. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall we had a great stay at the hotel.

It was a good stay except for the lack of flexibility of the check out at 10 AM. The staff argue that room and parking are booked but checking is a 5 pm. Not long ago check outs were at 12 PM and check out at 1 PM. The tight check-in and check-out schedules are inconvenient because travel plans often have uncertainties like flight delays or traffic. A rigid time frame makes it difficult to adjust. Also, checking out early in the morning mean can’t enjoy amenities like swim in the pool and strict schedule add stress to what should be a relaxing experience. I will looking for better checking in and out schedules when booking hotels in the futuro.
