Now they won’t answer calls from Expedia so Expedia won’t issue a refund even though the frontdesk staff said they would issue full refund. This is a scam by the hotel and Expedia. All Expedia said was they couldn’t get in touch with the property. - we checked in 12:30am. There was a bunch of Sunflower seed peels in front of check in counter. Two people folding bath towels as we walked into the front door on a table that was part of the dining area where breakfast was to be served. - First room Rm314 was not cleaned. Trash on floor. Used towels everywhere. Bed not made. - Nathan at front desk gave me 317. As we walked up, four people with cleaning tools and supplies were leaving. - No shampoo except a half used individual sized shampoo. Called to get shampoo and conditioners delivered to the room - No sheet underneath the blanket between bed sheet and blanket. So the blanket was just flipped over. Called to get new sheets to put on the bed ourselves. - Dead fly on the floor. Live bug ran across the bathroom floor. Kitchen floor stuck to bottom of shoes. No paper towels in the full kitchen. - Black ring inside the bath tub. Grey water marks behind towel rack above toilet. - 9am on 8/21, contacted Expedia to ask for refund. They called for half an hr and no one answered. - Morning staff claimed Expedia called corporate office. Requested refund with morning staff again. Names are Sourage and Admidth. - Admidth promised he had asked corporate to issue full refund.

People at front desk do not speak much English and are terribly slow. 3 trips to the desk and over an hour waiting finally got checked in only to find no sheets on the bed and no shower curtain. Front desk was no help once again so slept in a sweatshirt with no sheets until I found a nice lady cleaning rooms who finally got me some supplies. Worst lodging experience ever!

Got there and my reservation was not correct at all then the guy at the counter was not helpful at all i spent almost a hour at the check in desk. The customer service was horrible. The room was clean but the bed and the pillows were super hard. I had to get the key card for the door programed 3 times. So i would stay away from this place...

They ignored me for 10 mins at the front desk while answering their cell phone and walking away. In total it took me almost 40 mins to check in. The room had a strong smell and hairs all over the bathroom in the sink and the floor around the toilet. None of the bedside tables looked wiped with oily handprints everywhere.

Overall: 6.1/10 (Ok with some caveat) Room Features: 8/10 Cleanliness: 4/10 Housekeeping: 3/10 Breakfast: 3/10 Location (Bus Line/Distance): 8/10 Staff Service: 8/10 Price Range: 8/10 The room (King Bed, Accessible) comes with 1 set of desk, wheeled chair, fridge, TV, microwave, drawer, and a safe. The quality of those furniture are neither good or bad, but the variety of options is good. Considering the price point (roughly $85 a night for early/mid August), these were a pretty solid plus for this hotel. Location is also quite good, with several businesses nearby within a 10-minute walking distance. The university is about 10-minute drive away, but for those without a car, MTD Bus 10 Gold takes you directly there, while 11 Ruby drops you off at Lincoln Square, which you can transfer to 5W Green, 6W Orange, or 13S Silver to get you to campus. Breakfast is quite limited. While one should note that this is complementary and thus not expected to be "good," even then, you have basically 3 things to eat (scrambled eggs, tater tots or french fries, and sausage patties) along with some cereal and a single type of small muffins. Fruits/vegetables were usually not present, and only an apple may be seen on an occasion. Desert is a rotation between biscuit & gravy or pancakes with maple syrup. Housekeeping is on-request, and unless a request is made, they will not restock towels or toiletry. Sheets had some stains and floor not vacuumed. Cleaning staff seems limited.

Dirty, bad plumbing, toilet did not work, sink clogged, had to go to the gas station to use bathroom. Called front desk many times, no don’t response at all…. No towels, no shower curtain, dirty towels, no soap, dirty carpet Pick a different place, if you in the same area…. I travel a lot, but this was one of the top worst hotels I have been in my entire life.

This is not a place I would revisit. The place appears clean in the lobby area but the room and halls are dingy and dirty. We asked for more face towels… the front desk never responded! We had to go buy towels… don’t trust the towels. The bedding was stained, the couch was filthy. You will not have the option to check in before 3pm. NEVER EVER AGAIN. You are intrigued by the cost of the hotel, but do not be fooled!!! Plan early to find cheaper rates somewhere else!

This was the absolute worst hotel that I've ever stayed in while visiting Champaign il, first off i had to wait over an hour to get checked in second i reserved a room with 2 queen beds and only got the 1 king bed and was told that there were no more rooms with the 2 queen bed and the couch was a let out couch and ehen my grandson let it out it wasn't even fit to have a dog to sleep in it the mattress was all dirty and torn up and the covers were filthy and lastly the entire room smelled like it had just been sprayed with some kind of roach and bug killer very strong smell and not to mention their was no towels or washcloth of any kind to shower in and the bathtub was full of hair, i will never ever stay or recommend this hotel to any one ever absolutely a dirty and not so friendly hotel to stay in and i think that i deserve a full refund because they didn't even try to help me at all
