It took a long time to check in. I've not been to a hotel that locked the front door at 5pm. You needed someone to let you in, just to check in. Really a very poor customer experience. Especially given that it's not a bad neighborhood. Additionally it was really expensive for the little room you got.

Refused to refund 1 of the 2 nights originally booked, even with a months notice. The bathroom door had a hole in it. I called to notify and the desk seemed completely unaware. Later I noticed a bar missing from the shower, the one you might drape a wash clothes over. Lukewarm water for at least half of a shower before it finally got hot. One ice machine on the entire premises was out of order, as was one of the two juice options at breakfast. I didn’t care about juice but I did care about having ice.

The room was about the size of a cruise ship cabin. You could hear conversations in the next room. The heater/AC unit was too loud to run at night. And there were random knocks coming from the bathroom vent that went on for hours. Also, the elevator is scarier than the Tower of Terror. It would jerk sideways before deciding to go up. Wyndham needs to do better.
