Very comfortable - good choice for less $$

Chambana had a lot of expensive hotels - like Chicago expensive. Not sure why exactly? But if you're looking for a good lower priced option, this is a great choice. Clean. Comfortable. Friendly staff. Better than average breakfast. Pool is small with no changing area, but they provide pool towels and the water was clean. My only real complaint isn't something they can fix - it's the location. No real food or shopping in walking distance. But as long as you have a car, there are plenty of options nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

Just the bare minimum

Hotel was fine. Room was clean but the bathroom was pretty small and the shower wasn't great. The shower curtain didn't reach far enough so every time I'd shower, water would end up on the floor. Also, TV stations weren't in HD...? How is that possible in 2025?! Glad I brought my own Roku. Good news was that the internet was pretty good. The fitness room wasn't very good at all. Old equipment crammed into a small room. Worked but not great. The biggest annoyance was that the lights would auto-shut off after 20 minutes so when I was on the treadmill, I was exercising in the dark. Breakfast was BAD. Not many options. The bagel I had was hard as a brick. Not sure the toaster worked very well. Nasty egg-looking things with some weird looking biscuits and gravy. There was yogurt but just plain with no fruit options. I just didn't eat breakfast there after the first day. Pretty mediocre attempt at a breakfast. Overall, felt like the hotel was just doing the bare minimum. Not going over and beyond. Just enough to be fine but not great at anything. Too bad because the service was very excellent. People were friendly and helpful!

Great stay at Midwestern Hotel.

In Champagne/Urbana for my son’s surgery at Carle Hospital. Last minute booking at Midwestern University Inn. I would definitely return, very clean, very courteous staff and the continental breakfast was very good. The mattress was so comfortable, I slept so good. Only complaint is the bathroom door doesn’t open all the way because it hits the toilet. Ha!

This Best Western is perfect for the price. The room was ready upon check in and the room was clean. The location of the hotel was ideal for my liking. If ever in Champaign-Urbana again I will consider this property for future stays.
