Stayed overnight after an Illini game. I have stayed at many properties in C/U over the years and this was among the best. To me the best properties in C/U are the I-Hotel and Hyatt, which I rarely stay at due to what they charge. This hotel is clearly in the top tier after those two places. It was clean, quiet, modern and the beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was what I have come to expect from most hotels nowadays, it's basic. The items that are supposed to be hot were hot, and the cold ones were cold. I'm just not really one for hotel breakfasts anymore. Overall, for value, cleanliness, and shape of the property I would give this place 8/10 and I would certainly stay again if the price is competitive with similar properties.

Almost Perfect
This hotel is newly remodeled and beautiful. The room was large and I liked the no rugs on the floor. The rooms are very clean. The bed was perfect and the room temperature was very controllable. My one complaint are the curtains in the room. The hotel is in an area with many businesses and the outside is very well lighted. The curtains did not keep the light out and the room was too bright so my husband and I did not sleep well.
