Sticky surfaces, traces of spit and other disgusting things on the walls and in the shower, the air conditioner works when it feels like it and it's completely moldy inside, clear traces of mold in the corners of the room. The worst was a constant smell of sewage coming up from bathroom and sink. The last day the smell got so bad i felt nauseous, there were even flies that i guess came up from the sewage. The room doesn't remotely worth the price.

Rooms were very clean and quiet. Staffs were very helpful in general, and vehicle used for transfer to Disney land was classy. Hot spring was awesome and relaxing. Restaurant food were great quality. Overall highly recommended.

Arrived at the residence and was greeted by one of the staff who showed us to the apartment and how things worked, including the security and aircon. Very helpful and also gave us some insight into China, which helped us a lot. The property is well maintained and very safe. It is very conveniently located for public transportation and shopping. DiDi drivers had no problem finding our place and the security staff were always very cheerful and helpful. I would highly recommend this residence for a stay in China and it was particularly great to “live in the local neighbourhood” rather than in a tourist trap hotel. The people here are so friendly and welcoming. We will be back

This is my favorite hotel I have ever stayed at. I got a free upgrade for my birthday and the view and room were INCREDIBLE. I almost turned my trip into a staycation. I ordered room service twice and took the best bath of my life every night. The desk area was perfect for a big meeting I had. There was also turn-down service, and all the staff were incredibly attentive. I even took advantage of the spa as my hotels.com membership gave me a discount. I also thought the bar was nice though it wasn't very full. I would happily stay here again. :)

Team on reception desk was not very helpful. Missinformed (did not know the check out time, and that breakfast was booked as well). Room was Ok but smelled of cigarets. Also shower not very clean. Breakfast ok. The gym was very limited.

I love the great value and convenient location: a few minutes walk to Nanjing Rd, and within walking distance to the Bund. On next block there are a lot of restaurants local people love to eat. The hotel is very old and compact, but it has everything a traveler needs. The room even has nice view.

Great location on nanjing road. Staff was helpful. Everything close by. Property a little bit older and there is a slight scent of smoke permeating the air. But that's everywhere in Shanghai. Cheap massage on site. A cute cat on 7th floor and gym
