Couldn’t get a better location, right in the heart of Old Town Chania. You cannot drive up to the hotel, so parking is the only issue, but we found some free about 5-10 min walk away. Such beautiful unique rooms and wonderful staff.

Fantastic views from the balcony

I had a really nice stay. The room itself had the most amazing view and lovely balcony and was a good size. The only downside was the thin walls - but I just slept with earplugs in. Bed was a bit softer than what I like, but that’s just personal preference. Location was perfect for exploring the old town and so many great places to eat nearby. Breakfast was a really good selection and all the staff were really friendly. I would stay again for the view alone as I am sure all the old buildings struggle noise wise.

We had a fabulous few days in Chania and the Elia Zampeliou was the ideal base to explore the beautiful old town. The room was comfortable and well appointed. There could be some noise coming from the port but we slept really well

Venetian Harbor Delight

Our stay at Elia Zampeliou Hotel in Chania's Venetian Harbor was a delight! Our room was clean, well-appointed and comfortable, with a picture-perfect view of the Harbor. The staff were friendly and professional and the price was extremely reasonable considering it also included a delicious and abundant breakfast of Greek pastries, breads and yogurts. We enjoyed exploring the narrow and colorful alleyways in this ancient part of town. The only down side was that we weren't able to stay longer. We would definitely return to Elia Zampeliou Hotel and recommend it highly.

The location is unbeatable, nestled in a vibrant area with numerous restaurants, cafés, and shopping destinations within walking distance. Whether you're craving local cuisine or looking to indulge in some retail therapy, everything is just steps away. The neighborhood itself is perfect for leisurely walks, offering a charming and lively atmosphere. I found it incredibly convenient to explore the area without needing transportation. As for the hotel itself, the breakfast was fantastic—a wide variety of options. It's a great way to start your day before heading out to enjoy the surroundings.

A wonderful stay in the middle of Chania. Place is beautiful, great staff, rooms. Breakfast was ok. Only minus is because it is an old town you have to park far from the hotel and walk with your luggage, which was inconvenient.

Amazing view from our room. Getting to the hotel with our bags was a little challenging since this hotel is in the harbour where cars are not allowed; but if you find parking near one of the options they send, you will just walk like 5-7 minutes. But, I will say it was totally worth it. The Venetian Harbour is so unique, you have to stay in it and explore every little street. We enjoyed our stay!

We had an amazing stay. Staff were so helpful and we loved being in the old port. The beds were comfy and they had everything we needed and then some. We had a rental car and they were very helpful directing us to the areas we could park in outside the port. There are so many great restaurants around the hotel. Completely walkable. Perfect stay in Chania
