Room had an odd odor. Kitchen was run down and looked so bad i was afraid to even use the 2 burner top. No dishes, coffee maker, utensils or anything you would expect a room with a kitchen to have available. Toilet kept running eveytime you flush.

The room was a disaster. The bathroom door wouldn’t close the furniture finish was peeling and looked like something had chewed on it. The sofa faux leather was cracked and the bed was so soft that it felt like a bean bag chair. On top of that when the power went out on the second night the room phone wouldn’t work. After walking down the stairs to get to the front desk I got a smart ass answer from the desk clerk who told me to “look out the window” that the power was out in all of chantilly. Which wasn’t exactly true since my son who lives less than a mile away had power

I had a great stay at the MainStay Suites Washington Dulles Airport. The hotel was spotless and well-maintained, which made a big difference after a long day of travel. The staff were warm, professional, and genuinely helpful, always greeting guests with a smile. The room was comfortable and quiet, with all the essentials you’d expect from a quality airport hotel. For the price, it’s an excellent value — clean, convenient, and friendly. I’d definitely stay here again or recommend it to anyone flying in or out of Dulles.

Room was shabby, towels were worn off. The cabinet paint was peeled off. Cabinet doors were loose does not close properly. Cleanliness was not good. Continental breakfast consist of one coffee pot and one hot water pot. Two types of creamers. Few bars and oat meal packs.
This was total continental breakfast.

Appeared clean, everything including wifi worked, full size kitchen, pleasant staff and price for the area was reasonable.. Only disappointment (unimportant to me) is the "Breakfast" was minimal - more like a snack bar.

When I first checked in, the towels were clearly used and folded up as if it were washed. luckily I brought my own towel so I could use that. But the issue didn’t stop there because I noticed that when I was about to get into bed that the bed had hairs and stains on it as well. And I hadn’t been inside the bed so I know it wasn’t me. When I tried to go downstairs and talk to the receptionist, she gave me an attitude and essentially try to tell me that I didn’t see what I saw even though I had pictures and showed her. When I told her I would like some type of accommodation for this. She gave me an attitude and told me that I can’t get another room or I should just suck it up and take the towels and linen that she’s offering. The issue is that I was kind before, but when she started giving me an attitude after I mentioned how unhygienic it is to have stains and used towels in an actual biohazard issue, it was disregarded. i’m just saying it’s OK for a hotel to be cheap but to be cheap and dirty is crazy to me.
this towel was crunchy… like ew
they more likely than not do not wash sheets after each guest
