While I wouldn't mistake this for a 5 star hotel, I have to say that I was very impressed with our stay here. Everything was better than expected and for an overnight stay, you couldn't ask for a nicer facility. New, and extra comfortable bedding, the facility was very clean and breakfast had some nice extra treats like strawberry waffle batter and hot chocolate. Had an ice machine, friendly staff, and an unobstructed view of the Kanawha River. I would definitely stay here again

Is Now a Quality Inn
No longer a Comfort Inn, has been down graded to a Quality Inn.
Needs a total renovation, old iron tub, faucets loose, old toilet and badly stained carpet.
Plus side, was a great free breakfast and a nice view of the river.
First room we were in smell so musty. We ask for air freshener to spray our room but had none so they moved us to another room. It was better but still had some odor of mildew, musty. Went to store bought some air fresheners, had to spray our room several times still had some smell to it. The young man working the front desk was doing so by himself and was extremely busy but was kind and courteous to everyone he dealt with. Wouldn’t stay here again.
