Great hotel!
Great hotel! Breakfast wasn’t exactly my favorite but it was fine, we don’t need it too fancy anyways. Coffee was good! Clean hotel, bed was LOVELY, I slept so well. Bathrooms were nice- liked the light around the mirror! Very well maintained and kept and the staff was super nice.

What should have happened.
A year ago we had a nice stay and so returned. This year on day 2 the water from above our bathroom rained in directly ove the shower as the above unit leaked. We could not use our shower as a result. I reported it as soon as it was discovered to the front desk they never sent anyone to our unit I cannot speak to the unit above. I was surprised that no effort was made to either provide another room for the night nor any offer to offer a credit for a future stay. We won’t be returning as this example we feel is Mgt. 101, there was not even an oral apology for the inconvenience. Our first night was fine only due to the fact that the likely the unit above was not occupied. Thank you

I didn't like checking in at 9:00 pm and finding out the shuttle service to the airport started at 7 am. I needed a shuttle due to having an early morning flight. Fortunately the manager is the one that checked me in and was gracious enough to get up early to take me to the airport after seeing the look of panic on my face. I was with my elderly in laws and did not want them having to drive me around looking for a hotel at that time of night that provided early shuttle service. They live a hour away from the airport which is the only reason I booked a hotel, so that they weren't driving me early in the morning. I was very upset and quite angry.

When I reached out to the hotel I was advised on how the shuttle service works. The gentleman whom picked me up was friendly and knowledgeable about the area as well as what place he says has the best seafood. Upon arrival to the hotel I was greeted by the women at the desk she advised they were booked and didn’t have the room I reserved available. Another woman whom was cleaning the breakfast area offered me to sit and watch the tv while I was waiting. After a few minutes or so I decided to go get some food. I asked where I could leave my luggage while I left, she directed me behind the reception desk. I took the walk to explore the area. Needless to say when I returned a room was available for me. If and when I return back to Charleston I will stay at this location.

I Would Stay Again!
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the location was perfect. My fiancé and I had an engagement photoshoot and the location was perfect to get to downtown. And to enjoy some shopping on our free time.
