The hotel location and view is incredible! The cleanliness was sub-par and you can tell the property needs a refresh. Our shower would leak like crazy and almost flood the bathroom, bed frame was bent and sticking out from the bed skirt & there were several hairs found in our sheets (looking like long hair & beard or pubic hair). There’s a lot of wear and tear on the property and it really needs a good update/fresh paint.

I highly recommend this property if you were planning to come to Charleston. It’s directly over the bridge from the downtown area. The rooms were very clean and spacious, and the property was beautiful.

There were a couple of ants in the bathroom but nothing that freaked us out or made it enjoyable. Just a little flush down the toilet. Our view was amazing, the pool was enjoyable with access to food and drinks.

First off - if they ever put you in room 1108, just ask for a refund. It was right next to the elevator equipment and it makes a noise every 30 seconds. It will wake you up 50 times a night. Just don’t do it. We begged to switched rooms on our 4 night stay but was told sold out. This room should be given away free, we paid over 1k and literally did not sleep all night. Even with sound machine, it’s so loud and shakes the whole room over and over. Otherwise everything else was amazing. The report, the staff, the free parking, the free trips downtown, the pool, drinks and food. Everything was amazing, but 3 stars bc the room where we slept was a huge no! I wish I got a refund and went to holiday inn to sleep ugh.
