We booked 3 nights on hotels.com for a "total" of $710, the final bill came out to be over $900 (pet fee + misc.). This extraordinary pet fee ($175) wasn't spelled out in details during booking process, if they did we would have stayed somewhere else. The hotel's pool/hot tub were under constructions, one of the two elevators wasn't working our entire trip but they still charged full Resort fee. Feel a little cheated! Don't think we will come back again!

We were unaware they were renovating and some amenities like CornHole were unavailable which was frustrating. Also when the room doors close they SLAM and it’s like a sonic boom. I woke up every time someone closed their door. 😔 We did love and enjoy the water view from our balcony and the convenience to Downtown Charleston.

Love Charleston
Expensive and need to read the pool towel return policy. Nice place, good service, but not cheap at all. Rooms were not huge for a family of 4, but in an awsome town!

After a 15 Hour Dr., we were checked into room 306 which didn’t have hot water and the tub drain didn’t work …couldn’t fix the heat took a cold shower standing in cold water and then we had to move to another room. The hotel is filled with scuffed walls, dirty carpet and chipped doors and cabinetry. This generation is not handling the responsibility of managing or caring for the property very well it looked as though a number of decorative items had been sold off, and the result is lackluster
