Simply ok.
Rooms are in need of a hard goods refresh. Bathroom corners showing signs of superficial cleanliness; baseboard molding with signs of water damage near the shower; gouged paint and wood on the dressers and cabinets. Public spaces well cared for. Pool delightful. Staff excellent. Would stay again at a lower price point. Better value for the money can be found elsewhere in the city.

I've traveled to Charleston a number of times and always chose to stay downtown. We will be staying here from now on for future trips! It's a beautiful location without the craziness of the downtown area. The staff was friendly and accommodating. In addition, having the Charleston Water Taxi nearby made travel to the city so much easier!

The pool was beautiful, the view is great. The lobby was inviting. I did not know where the check in desk was --there is no sign to show me the way. There should be more dining options at this hotel, including bar service at the pool with small plates. The Fish House was nice, but I would have wanted food and drink at the pool since I would stay there all day and evening at the pool. The back porch seating and the sunset view was so enjoyable. We sat there every night, with hot chocolate from the lobby coffee machine, it was very enjoyable.

Property was beautiful and felt safe. Sheets were uncomfortable and incredibly itchy. Continuously itchy since I slept in the hotel bed. Very uncomfortable and worried that it’s dust mites. Shouldn’t have this issue at the price they charge.
