Downhill

The room was dirty, looked as if it hadnt been vacuumed or mopped in days. Bathroom was very dirty, black stuff in the sink, tub and floor. Back of toilet hadnt been cleaned and had dirt and pubic hair on it. The heat/air conditioner was filthy had several dead bugs and dirt in the part that puts out the air. Mold on one of the walls and floor in the room. I have several pics but it wont let me upload them.

The room had a smell like a sweaty person. We were so tired we didn’t even bother to complain. The pool looked very pretty until you got in it and noticed a lot of details of it dirty. Then they charge me an extra $10 and didn’t say why on my bill Later on.

When we arrived, I received a text welcoming me and letting me know if I needed anything just to respond to the text. I did to let them know that the toilet seat was loose. I received no response. When I turned on the TV, I got a message on the screen that there was weak or no signal. I dialed the number for maintenance with no answer. Then I called the front desk only to get a message that the mailbox was full and accepting no new messages. I the called the assistant general manager and he answered. It was an easy fix that if there was direction of what to do would have saved a lot of frustration. After that I discovered there was only one light in the bathroom, and that was flickering. I didn't bother to call anyone and went directly to the front desk. The girl was very friendly and said she would try to find the maintenance man. Needless to say the light never got replaced and fortunately, the other one didn't go out.

Stay was ok. Pool area was the nicest part of the hotel. Bar and grille area dated, food filled the void, but that was about it. Staff was friendly enough. Cleanliness was not the best. Stains on the carpets, and just some things that needed to be wiped down, like doors, handles, tables. It was okay for an overnight stop.

Last leg of a very long trip. The pool was beautiful, the bar/restaurant friendly and homey(localish),the room was clean, the beds very comfortable and staff was great! Updates needed, like the hallway carpeting, but overall we loved our stay. Nothing pretentious or fancy but very comfortable!

This was my first stay at Wyndham Gardens and it was a great experience. All areas were very clean and the employees were extremely friendly. Markayla, the bartender at the bar and grill, was very friendly and nice to everyone. I would definitely stay here again.

For the money we had a bed to sleep in. The hotel is in bad need of some TLC. Our toilet was not secured to the floor with the tiles busting up around it. We were placed way at the end of the hotel when they found out we had pets. While that was supposed to be a plus for access to the pet area, the entrance door “D” would not close so was not secure and the subsequent door to the hallway would bang loudly as people came and went all hours of the night. So none of us got good sleep. I wouldn’t book it again.

I booked this property because it has a pool. My husband was in the area for work and would be sleeping during the day, so I was going to relax by the pool. It was closed. Should have been on the website as being closed. Our TV did not work. The outlets in the bathroom did not work. It had a musty smell in the room. The breakfast was good. Will call a hotel next time I am looking for a certain thing on their property. They really need to update the property.
